FFT Plot - Real Time Sound Frequency Analyzer
By ONYX Apps
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
***** "I use this app to detect sound feedback problems on live show and it became helpful and practic."
FFT Plot is a powerful real-time audio analysis app. Designed with musicians and recording engineers in mind, it can also be used by anyone interested in the world of sound. Ideal for room tuning or speaker tuning, the app enables portable, precision audio measurement and visualization.
● FFT Size (2048 to 16384 points)
● Fast, Slow and Infinite Averaging
● Window function (Hamming, Hann, Rect)
● Peak Frequency detection
● Linear and Logarithmic scale
● Pan to adjust visible dB range
● Draggable cursors
● Retina display and iPhone 6 ready
FFT Plot is also available within our Spectrum Analyzer suite, which also includes Octave RTA, Spectrograph and Tone Generator modules. If you need more than just FFT, please search for "Spectrum Analyzer" app.

What's New in Version 1.2.1
Thank you for helping us improve FFT Plot app! Please rate it on the App Store now, so we can make it even better!
● Minor fixes
Very nice FFT
The nicest thing about this analyzer is that it has the ability to recognize the particular microphone you have plugged in to your iPhone. I use a Shure MV88 stereo mic. That means that the application is calibrated for my particular microphone! I was able to quickly equalize my sound system and it sounds much better now.
I use this app when I'm performing the final tuning in car audio systems and I'm impressed with the response and resolution it has. It could be better if it supported external microphones such as ZOOM's XY and omni capsules but performs pretty reliably through the iPhone's internal microphone. And fairly accurate up against my ARC software in my recording studio studio. Well worth the money if you need a good FFT
My Fave FFT App
It's fast/slow and window choices, and look and feel are very natural for working in the frequency domain.
Watching music it just "looks" proper.
The ability to decode the frequency peak to a musical note is a natural, but extremely useful feature...
Three features I'd like to see?
1) Screen capture video... share the look of your favorites dynamically.
2) Capture-Process-Slomo: capture a length of audio, process the FFT, then play the video back slowly, with scrubbing, to allow transposition of complex arpeggios...
3) Transpose 2) into musical score or tablature.
