Bug alert!! Still big problems after many many updates

Some one in development needs to be let go. This app just keeps getting worse each update. It was and still is my favorite app but the pro features keep being taken away or changed to the point of seriously creating work flow issues. This problem has been here for several updates and it's a major bug and that is - exporting to iTunes using an 8 bar loop causes the export to make a 16 bar loop or a 4 bar loop makes an 8 bar and so on. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the developers left the trail of audio at the end (for delays and long release times). You get a hard cut of the loop which is incredibly annoying when working in a daw. An exported loop used to trail off properly about 5-6 updates ago so why did a developer choose to remove something so important? I assume it was for exporting to an ipad app to use just for entertainment purposes which was a horrible decision. This needs to be addressed if you want serious producers using this app. I am fleshing out tracks in a daw and now have to re-export without the delay fx because I have to recreate it in my daw. Which leads me to the other BIG problem.

Next big problem with exporting is now it's even more annoying to export individual parts of a loop. You have to rename the song as "lead" for example then mute the other parts, then SAVE!!!, then export. Your left with 100s of extra songs just because you want to individual export the lead and bass and drum kits. In previous versions of figure you could at least do individual exports without having to save all of them as new songs. Makes browsing cumbersome to say the least. I strongly suggest as a perfect pro feature to solve this is to develop a "batch" export to iTunes file sharing option of wav files for a song which let's you make 6 wav files at the same time for each part (kick, snare, hats, perc, bass, lead) this would alleviate the saving of several hundreds of unnecessary song files and speed up the export process immensely.

These two problems have been plaguing this app for way too long. For now I am going to do a restore of an older version because of these issues. I am trying to use this app in a professional setting and would love to recommend it (which I do) but I cannot recommend it commercially due to these issues.

The following requests below are less of problems and more of wanted features.

Can we get the pinwheel to go up to 32 timing rather than the current 16 limit?

Can we have one more lead instrument (2x total)?

I'd love to be able to pick what "tweak" parameters I can use for each instrument. And I'd like at least 6 parameters rather then the 3 offered. Not being able to change the ADSR for sounds makes the uses limited. I like a sound but can't use it in a certain context because of this.

Fix the browse page please. Currently the problem is, selecting different songs or variations of songs is hard to do seamlessly in the browse page and since making a chorus or bridge in figure requires saving your song as "part b", it would be great if the start timing of the newly selected song could be when the currently playing song reaches its last bar. With this in mind, you could for example, go to browse page, start a song then load song part B and while part A is finishing up, go back to tweak page or mix page and then part B comes in and your already at the tweak page ready to tweak that filter cutoff for the chorus. This feature would allow us to actually DJ a figure set of our own songs and since figure is all about sharing, it could also be used to make sets out of other people's figure tracks.

A "Midi clock slave sync" option through the camera connection kit is still the feature I want the most. Over wi-fi sync is also good but prefer hardwired midi connections for sync. WIST has never worked nor will it ever work the way everybody wants it to. I would take the current WIST setting and change it to "Sync" and have the midi clock and WIST options within. With midi clock added, I could run my midi hardware drum machines or other iPad apps as the master clock, which would then start the "slaved" figure song. I could even have several figure apps on separate iPads clocked together for even more layering ability.

I would gladly pay for a midi upgrade via in-app purchase. You could also, with that upgrade, give us more tweak options and more patches/kits for each instrument altogether.

If any one reads this review, please voice your opinion by reviewing the app as well. Propellerheads addressed previous update problems right away because they received numerous bad reviews here in the app store.
