Portrait locked
The pro version is portrait locked so if you like to function in landscape mode (especially when watching a video) this app is not for you.
Actually a Two Star App
They’ve gutted this app so that it no longer downloads videos “in accordance to Apple’s policy on media usage”. I don’t care about music, but videos should definitely be save-able on mobile and were on previous versions. Now, you don’t get that. Here’s what you get currently:
- a slightly discreet private browser (you need a VPN if you want to be really discreet)
- Acrobat file saver
Here’s what you DON’T get:
- a video/audio downloader (as promised by the in app upgrades)
- ad free browsing
- a privacy screen
- a WiFi hotspot toggle (also promised)
- clear instructions on use
- a coherent media organizer
It costs almost $10 to get this app to Pro status (3 separate in app upgrades!), prompted by in app purchases, and none of those promises were met. So really you just get a browser that won’t show your location, and even then Google can pick up your ping. In the past, you received all the promised perks and it was easy to save videos of pr0n to your phone. Now, just skip this app until the maker rectifies the issues.
A go to App
You get 5 stars but only one complaint. When browsing, if trying to manipulate a photo for best vie, one gets a pop up if you browse pulling the text/pic downward. Other than that it’s perfect. I’ve learned to work around that problem but, it is always there.
