Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
FileSorter sorts your files. You can customize the sorting process completely by creating rules and assigning actions.

Open-action bug fix
I suppose if you want to do something that's one or two steps above manual, this might be the right app. However I was hoping to replace Hazel with it (currently not in the MAS), but the first and most obvious feature it's missing is the ability to perform actions in the background. The only way to have the app function is to drag your file(s) or folder(s) onto the app icon in the doc which completely defeatures the entire purpose of automation (set it and forget it.)
awesome app it does exactly what I need it to do I DID not want to buy hazel just for the batch move feature so I searched and searched and found this app, I didn't want an app that moved my files without me telling it to, I wanted it done only when I was sitting at the computer so thanks to the dev for making it..I owe u a steak dinner lol
This is a good start, especially since it’s free. But the classic Hazel app is a 100 times better, with lots more folder activation options than File Sorter. .
