This game is amazing for old school Final Fantasy fans

I love Final Fantasy games and this is a great addition, with an old school feel. The game is free and you can also buy the currency to unlock things quicker. I suggest you buy the early bird bundle as it only lasts the first two days and is totally worth it if you think you will play this game! (I didn't purchase it and it's the only bundle worth the value completely) I have played games that have this feature and usually I don't spend money and have good luck unlocking what I need. I may spend some money just to support the game and encourage more Final Fantasy mobile games. The combat is fun and has an old school rpg feel with a twist. The animations are great and the old school graphics are appealing to me. This game is a lot of fun as there is so much to unlock and many combinations of party members. There is a TON of lore, every item and weapon has lore descriptions. The game has almost every member from the final fantasy universe which is intriguing. There is pvp and it's fun as you can fight other peoples party. You can spend money to unlock characters and energy quicker but it isn't necessary. The music is great and I am really excited to play more of this game. I love Final Fantasy and have played all the core series. Super excited to have found this game and it is my first smartphone mobile game I have owned and I love it! There is a lot to do, Thanks for another great Final Fantasy!

Excellent. I'm addicted

I'm playing every chance I get. Hell, I have to leave my phone at home when I go to work. The mechanics and universe are about as diverse as one can expect from a Final Fantasy game. I can't wait until Chocobos make their way to the US version from Japan. Waiting for updates isn't really a big deal, and I can tell people are working diligently on the game to fix any bugs or glitches with regular maintenance checks. My only actual complaint is that Square Enix wouldn't sell itself short for nastier celebrities like Ariana Grande. I greatly enjoyed selling her unit as soon as I got it. It's understandable; there's excellent publicity behind a celebrity, she'll bring new players in with her fans, and she's fairly popular in Japan, especially with my junior high students. All the same, I inwardly wince every time I see her nasty face for the game's icon, and I hope Square Enix hasn't alienated too many longstanding fans of the game with this move.

Stupid Promotion, Stupid Icon

This game is genuinely fun. What I hate is their insistence on stupid tie-in promotions with things that are not Final Fantasy related. Though I understood and accepted that GUMI would work their other game's characters into Brave Exvius (and I think it worked well enough), this promotion with Ariana Grande is just plain stupid.

She has nothing to do with Final Fantasy and this event is clearly just a grab for attention for her and Brave Exvius. Even so, I could have tried to ignore the event, but then they shoved their foolishness in our faces by changing the icon. Now Ariana Grande's face sits unwanted on my home screen. I am embarrassed to play this game now.

GUMI, the vast majority of Final Fantasy characters and logical tie-in games have not been integrated into Brave Exvius. Instead, you decided that a vapid pop star deserved a more prominent place than any character in any of the games that made Final Fantasy famous. None of the dozens of popular, interesting characters that gave this game the instant credibility you were able to build into success have featured in the app's icon. Not even Cloud, the poster boy for all things Final Fantasy. In fact, he hasn't even appeared in the game yet. But Ariana Grande gets to be on the icon.

That's why I gave you one star. Hopefully I'm not alone and your App Store rating with cause you to correct your idiocy.
