"Finger Physics: Thumb Wars sparkles with spot on physics gameplay! Pick it up" -AppPicker

"Finger Physics: Thumb Wars has all the right elements for a fun physics puzzler" - PocketGamer

The first franchise extension to the #1 Puzzler has finally arrived to world-wide finger delight. That's right finger friends, Finger Physics is back - and this time it's WAR!!!!

Finger Physics: Thumb Wars is a weekly battle between states and countries to determine where the BEST and BRIGHTEST
fingers reside. The more fingers that play (that are actually good), the better your chance of claiming victory! Grab your friends and neighbors, grab your country-fingers (male and female fingers, of course) and start your ascent to the Thumb Wars mountain top!

Every week the score resets, every week you have the opportunity to take your state and country to the next level and assert your dominance over the world. If that’s STILL not enough for your fingers – there’s tons of OpenFeint achievements to keep you up late at night.

Here are the goods:
• 90 levels with monthly updates with more FREE levels
• Multiple game modes
• OpenFeint integration with tons of achievements
• Unlimited challenges as you collect stars
• Weekly championships to see which state and country wins the THUMB WAR!!!

It's ridiculously awesome, trust us.

Not bad...

...but I got bored completing the tutorial. It was a little too long & gameplay is just a bit too slow. The tutorial character is REALLY annoying. There's enough bad grammar in the technology based world. I don't have the patience or amusement for it when trying to learn how to play a game.

The music could use some work as its tempo doesn't match the tempo of gameplay. Because the music is so fast, it actually made the game seem slower. It's also not very pleasing to the ears. Thankfully, my favorite in-game option was available so I could mute it.

Open feint achievement pop ups kept getting in the way. Trying to select an object, I'd find myself in Open Feint. While it would pause the game, I still had to replay levels for better scores; had to figure out where I left off, adding unnecessary completion time & decreasing score.

Graphics are cute with a great color scheme. An update to support retina display would be a fantastic addition as would integrating Game Center.

The weekly contest is a great idea!! Monthly updates with new levels help to keep the game new & fresh which can be difficult to accomplish/implement. Job well done here Devs!

I'm a huge fan of logic/physic puzzles and really enjoyed the first Finger Physics. Thumb Wars has the potential to be as great as the original...just needs a couple of tweaks.

I picked this up while it was free, but overall, especially with new levels added each month, probably worth the $0.99 price tag.

much better than i expected

Wow. The icon for this game looked really cheesy and I didn't know what to think of this game but it's free today and it's an openfeint enabled game so I figured I'd get it and try to boost my openfeint points. It turns out this game is really cool! It's actually a nice puzzle game that has physics involved and reminds me a bit of tiki totems which i really like as well. The basic idea is to get one cicle thingy to land on another one collecting stars while it's moving. You move it by doing stuff like breaking glass pieces, hitting it against pieces that have pins in them, gears in them, etc. It's actually a really cool game and it's fun trying to figure out the puzzles! This is the kind of game that keeps me entertained for hours and can be played for as little as a few seconds as a time so it's a great pick up and play game.. when you start it up it goes right back to where you left off! very nice!

Fun puzzler with some Rube Goldberg appeal.

I expected this to be similar to the other finger physics game but it's actually pretty unique. You need to get a blue circular thing to hit a pinwheel thing. You do this by manipulated objects in certain ways depending on the type of object. Glass blocks disappear when you touch them, striped blocks can be moved, certain blocks are on pivots or springs, some explode, etc. It has really a very nice graphical music and a decent soundtrack. I actually prefer this over the balancing games. Absence of in-app purchase sales pitches are icing on the cake here (as of this writing you get the whole game for the purchase price as far as I can tell).
