■ An epic quest
A world with two kingdoms: the Emblian Empire, which wishes to rule all worlds, and the Askran Kingdom, which stands in its way.
You are a summoner with the special ability to call upon legendary Heroes from different Fire Emblem worlds. In order to save the Kingdom of Askr from destruction, join the Order of Heroes and face a never-ending challenge.
■ Intense battles
Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon—and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch and drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy.
■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes
The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and a few brand-new Heroes created by artist Yusuke Kozaki, known for his work on Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army.
■ Many modes let you play again and again
In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. Also, free and timely updates will continue to add new Hero characters, content, and other surprises to keep you engrossed with hours of additional gameplay.
● Story Maps: The story brings together new Hero characters along with familiar faces from the Fire Emblem series. Lead your army to victory to save the Kingdom of Askr.
● Training Tower: Engage in battle scenarios of varying difficulty that you can play over and over to earn rewards and experience (EXP) for your allies. Each time you take on these maps, the enemies and terrain change to offer a new challenge.
● Arena Duels: Fight against your rivals around the world. Your high score and ranking will determine your rewards—items that can increase your Heroes' abilities.
● Hero Battles: Under Special Maps, discover various battle scenarios that are available for a limited time. Defeat the Heroes who oppose you to convince them to join you as an ally.
Battle together with your favorite Heroes, watch them grow, and enjoy an all-new adventure that opens up a path to the future.

Great fun even as a F2P
Not spent a dime. Nearing ~80 5-star units and almost have my first +10 5* unit. Always score high in the arena.
This game definitely is fun, playable, and fair as a f2p player. The price of the orbs are high, so it's a great deterrent from actually spending money.
Arena is balanced around the raiting of your team, so you won't go against whales unless you're a whale, or have the luck of gods.
Most things are dripfed in very reasonable amounts to keep you playing to your heart's content (I use 30-40 stamina potions for an event, and end it with 10 more than I started with).
It doesn't feel like one of those games where you just won't pass because of a roadblock. Just stay away from meta and make your teams to your own liking, and you'll have a blast.
Only downside is the amount of Fates/Awakening characters compared to the other FE games, but the roster is slowly growing, and the challenges keep coming. The meta is being pushed more and more with each iteration. Nothing gets nerfed, but additions are made to hinder/help what needs it.
IS is doing a great job with this game, but new Lloyd art would be appreciated (and Canas launch).
High Quality and Constant Improvements
I’ve been playing Fire Emblem Heroes since it first launched back in February 2017. Compared to initial content and features, the game has become so much more complex and interesting. Every update improves the UI and provides even more new content. If I had to name a major issue it would be the typical gacha style of getting players to pay real world money for orbs. Low pull rates for strong characters is common and the slow pity rates are much help. Overall, while I find the low pull rates to be unfair to unfortunate players, I believe Fire Emblem Heroes is a solid mobile app that is complex and constantly improve with every update.
Used to be fun, in spite of the Pay2Win
This game used to be fun and was doing great inventing new abilities that you could do like giving skills and enhancing attacks but it's hard to describe without swearing the favoritism that is "Brave Hero Lynn" by the "waifu" crowd and Mary Sues out there.
If you have that character the game is broken and you win. Plain and simple she has no weaknesses. She can hit twice with better attack power than any other character you can have, hits ranged, has cavalry movement, and even if you survive a double attack by her, you can't hit back!
Someone needs to be done about that character because it is just punishment for not being onboard the Lynn is the best oh how we all adore her for being absolutely perfect. In short, forget Lynn, she's awful I hate her, she's boring as a character in her own game and Nintwndo needs to adjust this.
