It’s of to a so-so start

On the positive side, this app conveniently places login information automatically without user prompt, making the login process swift, but it isn’t without bugs, being a test pilot app:
Every time you manually enter login info for the first time in a website form, Lockbox asks if you want to save your login, but for certain websites, this does not always pop up.
One particular website, after Lockbox places the info, says that my account does not exist, but I can log in using Apple’s password auto fill.
Hopefully in the future Mozilla will give the ability to manually enter new passwords directly into the app, and edit existing password info as well.
Keep up the good work.

Developer Response

Thank you for testing and using our product. It's feedback like yours that helps us make a better product.

Right now Lockbox doesn't fill usernames and passwords into apps or browsers. It's something we're looking to introduce when iOS 12 ships with this capability. Right now any passwords with Apple's password autofill are credentials stored with Apple's Keychain (eg from Safari).

Are you experiencing issues filling forms in Firefox on iOS with passwords that you have saved in Firefox? If so, please feel free to open a Bugzilla bug describing your exact scenario and we may be able to help you troubleshoot further: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

Just what I needed

I had keeper password manager, it was great until I realized I was on a free trial. I was going on a vacation and next thing I know I can’t login to my work email because my newly updated password didn’t sync because I wasn’t on the trial anymore. However, this app offers that for free.

Thank you Mozilla!!

This is great! I can’t even remember all the times I’ve needed a password on my phone but had to go get my laptop because they’re all saved in Firefox rather than Safari (which I never use unless I have to). Please please please keep this updated!
