Escalation is a downward spiral.
A nuclear armageddon is no one’s dream scenario. So choose your steps carefully, it’s a small path between war and peace. FIRST STRIKE is a great strategy simulation featuring snappy gameplay and an intuitive interface that makes dropping the big one as easy as ABC. But be sure to take the right measures to guarantee your people’s safety.
Pick one of the big nuclear players – from known Superpowers to an upstart hellraiser like North Korea – and plan your strategy wisely: Limited but clever options let you as the leader of your superpower steer your nation’s fate: Expand to other countries, build bombs or debuild in order to restructure your arsenal. Or use research to widen your options, such as: Ability to act quicker and build bigger bombs, better recon on your enemies actions, automated self-defense-sequences and many more.
Whether you’re a bloodthirsty warmonger or a tree-hugging hippie – it’s time to put your cards on the table. A quick and fun game with beautiful graphics, FIRST STRIKE shows you how little it takes to heat things up. With the tip of your finger you can control the destiny of the precious and vulnerable rock floating through space, the rock we call mothership Earth.

One of the great Games of 2015!!! 💯%
I love this game, the strategy, the beautiful interface, the game play. This is one of the best games.
Cons: mostly my comments are for the developers on how this game could be improved. Same times it lags on my newest gen iPad, with iOS 8.3. Sometimes, some of the function completely do not work - defense of a county in Europe. This is not good - the again heavy graphics are being used. I also do not think the borders becoming more and more obscure as a country gets bombed is helpful for attack or defense purposes - this way you are loosing the beautiful details omnipresent in the game. Gameplay - maybe you should/could think of a economic model to be included. For example some countries produce more uranium as other therefore they are more valuable, because more bombs can be built. Otherwise one can conquer continents and just hold the border and not care about the interior especially since your opponents can not conquer the interior if the border is held.
Please work on the stability issues. Thanx
This is a truly great game, It's probably one of the best real time strategy games you'll find on the AppStore. It plays smoothly and there's never a dull moment, the speed can seem a little overwhelming at first but once you get to know the U.I. It's pretty simple and I mean that in a good way, the game manages to pull of its simplicity really well and maintains a high level of strategy and replay ability. The only issue I have with the game is its lack of difficulty settings, I'm pretty good at this kind of game and because of this I've yet to lose to the A.I., not to say there's no challenge because there is, it's just you can usually pull it off in the end if you know what you're doing. It could also use some multiplayer features and possibly some more challenges and or game modes. All in all this is a fantastic game that's definitely worth buying, keep up the good work guys!
This is all I always asked for: a game that lets you take control of all superpowers of the world (USA, Brazil, Europe, Russia, China, etc.) and make them have a "free for all" style of war, with the right to access nuclear weapons. Thank you, devs, for making my dream come true. The gameplay is very simple, and within 10 minutes I could get the hang of it. I just think that the AI is very dumb and acts in the "kill, kill, kill" mode. There is no tactic at all. Ex: I'm playing as a small country, such as North Korea. China, who is on my frontier, attacks Russia, who is much bigger and requires a lot of missiles to be taken down, while NK only requires one. And by that, you can just let they kill themselves, and when they notice, you have the tsar bomb and half of the world under your command. Apart from that, the game is totally worth the money, giving you a nice time-wasting game.
