A big update just in time for the new year!

- Workout Timers
Fitlist now has timers that track your overall workout time for workouts. These will start either by using the play button or 'Do This Workout'.

- Updated Apple Health/Activity Integration
With our new timers, we will now track your overall workout time so this can be shared with Apple Health workouts and contribute to your activity rings.

- Updated strength logging screen
We've made it even easier to log your strength exercises on the phone by adding +/- buttons to quickly adjust your weight (NOTE: You can still enter weight and rep values directly just as before). This includes new timers for duration based exercises. Any duration exercises with pre-set values will now count down, if not specified will count up.

Very simple, latest version has some issues

The previous version would reuse your history / last weight for each new set. The new “workout timer” is totally useless for weight lifting as a default UI and doesn’t use a sensible default for new sets, which means you have to re enter the same weight over and over for each set.

Overall I really like the app, but the previous version worked very well for weight lifting and the newest one has a much degraded UX for my most common use case.

I’ll be switching back to the old version until this is resolved or there is an option to get the old behavior.

We are aware of the load last sets issue and have addressed manually inputting duration exercises as well. An update will be available shortly as soon as it's approved by Apple.

I want to love this app so badly!

A straight forward UI with Apple Watch integration quickly took me from free download to purchasing the premium upgrade. But within the past couple weeks, I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app to get phone-watch syncing to work which was not a huge deal although some valuable data was lost. But a much bigger issue has presented itself after said reinstall. Now a workout completed on the watch which appears to properly sync with the phone is immediately lost after you leave the app, making this app’s main feature completely irrelevant. There is a nice in app help feature that acts as an asynchronous chat, except messages are rarely responded to. I’ve asked three questions in the last few weeks and received a response only once.

A lot of potential but too buggy to use

I love the watch UI and was excited to try this app for that reason. The interface is simple and intuitive allowing you to adjust for what you actually lifted on the fly. At least in theory. In practice my adjustments on my watch got overwritten by my original phone guesses when I put together the plan. When I edited the workout by removing sets from my phone, additional sets were still appearing when I played my workout. And when I adjusted weights and reps it entered the originals instead for the workout.

In other words I can't use this app to chart my progress because it doesn't accurately record my workouts. Pity. The interface was very promising.
