This a terrific app which fills a huge gap in the market for anyone interested in weight/strength training with features that make sense. Design is clean and well thought out. This is the only app I’ve found that lets one track sets (i.e. reps x weight), AND allows custom exercises and custom workout routines. I’ve been using it for about 10 months, around 4-5/week for my strength workouts mostly and I also log my cardio workouts as well just so I have everything in one place. No more clipboards, no more forgetting my latest workout routines. Makes it easy to change things up every few months too. The timer feature for between set rests is great, no more squinting at the second hand on the clock across the gym. Also lets you chart your progress and easily see your workout history. It works really well with the Apple watch too, with an easy to use interface to enter your reps/weights as you complete them. Sometimes hangs for a bit when loading a workout to the watch but other than that, the most recent version runs flawlessly. Finally, the developers are really responsive and open to feature suggestions. This app just keeps getting better.
This app is simple and works well. Even better with Apple Watch. Would be nice if there is a companion web site we can enter/view. But even with just the phone, it's worth getting it. Creating custom exercise is fast, "load from last set" feature is very useful. The app doesn't push you to get cookie cutter workout or premium workout routines, but let you create your own and run with it. Also interoperatability between phone and watch is smooth and logical. I don't really need to pick up the phone after each set any more. I switched from another site/app that I've used for over 3 years. I'm happy I made the switch. Thanks for releasing this app.
Good Workout App
Overall, this is a pretty good workout app. However, it only allows you to make two workouts before you have to pay to save more. I like that it has many exercises to choose from for you to add to your workout routine; although the search bar doesn't work when trying to search for an exercise. Another suggestion I would make is for allowing us to see the graph of our progress for each individual exercise, so we can see our improvement for each exercise as we log our workouts. I feel pretty limited since the graph only shows the progress of my total reps and weight lifted per workout.
