Worthy Replacement for Full Fitness


This app (Fitness Point Pro) is now the only app I use to track weight lifting. I like that it has iCloud backup, and that I can export my workout stats (reps, weight lifted, etc.) - a rare feature. I had been looking for a replacement for Full Fitness which I really liked over the last several years but which doesn't look like it will be updated to 64 bit and I'm happy with Fitness Point Pro. I also like that I don't have to pay monthly or yearly for this app as opposed to other weightlifting apps that I have seen. My only suggestion is to make it such that I can pause the workout timer if I get interrupted and then start it again. Right now the only option is to end the workout but interruptions requiring a pause happen.
Update: the developer has informed me "Pausing workout timer would cause wrong calorie calculation. That's why there is no pause button."
Thanks for responding so quickly. And again, thanks for the great app! For those who use the calorie counter, it might be helpful to enable the pause anyway so that if interrupted, that down time does not go into the calorie calculation. It would also be helpful to those like me that want to know how long a workout took and don't use the calorie calculation.

I had a pause button before, but it cased a lot of confusion between many users. That's why I removed it.
BTW, you can always edit every set and adjust the workout time.

I've tried most of the other exercise/workout log apps and this is still my go-to. My recommendation to you is to find an app that looks about right, then look at the version history to see if it's actually updated over a long span of time. If it is, then one can generally assume you won't end up wasting time logging your data into something that won't be supported with future bug and feature updates. In this particular app's case, it's been supported for some time now, and the author actually cares about their users. This is the one for me! (Sidenote- is it me or does the head/face in the app logo look like a boy's head attached to a man's body? Lol. Irrelevant to the apps usability and functionality, just a fun note!)

Best I found in a year, room for improvement


You’ve made a wonderful app very intuitive, soo as thought out as it is, I’m surprised to find some glaring omissions that seem basic. First off when creating a custom workout the only option is reps and sets. I can’t log runs or stretches with reps. Also, the timer is great, but if u do add a setting for duration fr custom exercises please allow the timer to automatically populate that field once you stop the timer so you can easily track and log timed exercises.
Update: thanks for your reply, as you stated setting the custom workout type as “cardio” automatically sets it up for duration! Instead of reps and sets. It’s impressive how intuitive you’ve designed the app to be, wish it was more obvious, however I did not read the help documentation so who knows if this was addressed. Good job. 8/10

All exercises in Cardio section are logged without reps/weight, but with time/distance. So while creating custom exercises just chose Cardio as the muscle group.

The app is made this way, that you need to enter all logs manually. Sorry, no plans for some automatic logs.
