Next Degree™ Climate Control for air conditioning and heating systems.
Flair builds heating and cooling devices to make homes more comfortable using as little energy as possible.
Flair's Smart Vents and Wireless Thermostats (Puck) work with smart Thermostats like Nest, Ecobee, Honeywell and more to bring room by room control to central heating and cooling systems.
For Minisplits and other remote remote operated ACs, Flair acts as a Smart AC remote to give you preheating, precooling, auto on/auto off and better temperature control.
For all systems types, Flair responds to occupancy and even specific occupants to give powerful personalization capabilities while allowing for minimal energy consumption.

Little Buggy but works great, great customer svc.
The app is definitely a tad buggy and likes the settings to be a certain way for things to work properly. It would be nice for there to be a setting to show you in the app if the vent is open or closed (Keen app has this feature). Once you have your system dialed in, it works flawlessly. The vents are good craftsmanship and seal the air well. I tried the Keen Home smart vents and had a problem with there vents not closing completely. They had a terrible lack of customer service. Took week for them to respond to me.
Flair however had impeccable customer service. When I emailed there customer support the owner got back to me within a couple hours and continued emailing me the next day or 2 very promptly until I had my system and setting dialed in working great. They even offered to take some suggestions I had for the app into account.
I look forward to future updates of the flair app and know they will get it down perfect. For a new start up company and product that released a months ago I’d say they did pretty dam good.
Just What I Needed
Since January 2018 I’ve been using Flair vents and pucks with an Ecobee 3, Ecobee remote sensors, and a Samsung mini-split. It took a little back and forth working with Flair support to get the Samsung working with the Flair puck, but now, and with the recent addition of scheduling, everything is working seamlessly.
The vents are very high quality and the Flair controls (app or online) provide a huge degree of flexibility and control, coordinating the AC, Samsung, and vents (open/close) to customize heating and cooling for our needs.
We’re gone a lot in the summer and I generally set the temperature fairly high while we’re gone, but want it comfortable when we return. The Ecobee was pretty good for that, but I really needed a way to remotely turn on the Samsung unit to cool the upper levels while we’re on our way home. With Flair I can now do that.
I’ve been very happy with the support I’ve gotten from Flair too. They worked with me to get the Samsung set up (it was a model they hadn’t seen before, so I had to send my remote to them so their system could learn the IR commands), but that only took a week or so. They’re now working patiently with me to try to get another brand of mini-split working at our summer cabin
Not ready yet
Beta product, app is buggy, setup is terrible, and company censors their forums of criticism. Bought 3 pucks to control mini-splits. Setup requires user to manually test multiple possible ir profiles with no positive feedback to verify which profile actually works.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
