Tries to be helpful, but gets in the way instead


The UI for this app is just horrendous. It tries to be helpful, but it makes so many assumptions about how its users will use the app that it ends up making things worse.

Examples: I don't like granting apps access to the camera until I need to use it in the app. Navia always wants it regardless and insists on taking me to the Settings each time I open the app to try to get me to grant it access to the camera even though I've clearly chosen not to do so.

The app doesn't resume from the last time you opened it. So when you're filling out a claim form and you need to switch to another app to look something up or grant it access to the camera, you've lost your place and have to start filling out the claim form from the very beginning.

When filling out amounts in the forms, it automatically dismisses the keyboard once it noticed you've finished typing the cents. Unfortunately, they implemented this in such a way it's impossible to modify the amount once you've typed out the cents. So you have to go back and start the form all over again.

I could go on, but this app is filled with horrible UX design issues like these that make it difficult to use. I only begrudgingly use the app because it eventually gets the job done, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

I appreciate the simplicity of this app and would give 4 stars. However if the app is deleted you have to log in again (I know this is normal) Problem being IT doesn’t remember your User ID password combo. I know this for a fact because I had to log in twice in one week and I know I had the right info the second time because I had it all written down from the first time. It’s so bad you get kicked out for “answering the security question wrong to many times” when you haven’t even been asked a security question! Very frustrating system glitch. I am positive it isn’t user error. If I had any doubt I wouldn't post a review.

This is not a good app.


You don’t specify what you need when you have to verify a swipe. Just a blank for an amount and a button to upload some ambiguous support documentation. If you’ve spoke to someone in customer service then you know what you need but what is the point of the app if you have to do both?
There is no way to see the status of the incident on which you are requiring information. So you can submit proof that you have spent days getting but then there a no way to know whether it has been rejected until you call. If you submit it again to make sure I was received then one of the submissions get rejected as a duplicate.
