Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

Guide Flip as he tries to escape a stellar shockwave after the successful rescue of AMI at the end of The Last Rocket! Brake to dodge asteroids, fill your star meter to warp, and earn gems for upgrades to cover greater distances. Can you outrun the sun?

Touch to brake and dodge incoming asteroids but don’t delay for too long or the stellar shockwave will overtake Flip! Pluck mini-stars from their asteroid orbit to earn temporary invincibility and jump to warp. Then tap like crazy to extend the warp’s duration!

What's New in Version 1.0.1

- updated Info > Controls to clarify that "Flip moves back and forth automatically."
- fixed bug that allowed you to fill the warp meter by tapping while paused (Megaman I-style! :D)
- fixed a display issue in regions where a decimal point or space is used as a thousands separator instead of a comma (eg. 1.400 rendered as 10400)

Excellent game -- screwy difficulty curve

I think the earlier reviewer who compared this to Ziggurat nailed it. There's lots to like here -- innovative game play that's a bit deeper than it seems, innovative controls, great art and sound. Totally worth $1.

I think the developer has kind of shot himself in the foot with the difficulty curve, though. So the game starts with you moving slowly, and the stars moving slowly around their asteroids. This makes it hard to judge whether you're on a collision course with an asteroid, and whether the star will be positioned correctly for a pick up when you fly by. As the game speeds up, I find it easier to judges trajectory, and I no longer have to worry about the exact position of the stars. This may be the only game I've ever played that gets *easier* as you progress (at least for awhile).

Also, a specific suggestion to make this game more approachable. Very frequently (but not always), the rocket starts out on a collision course with the first asteroid. Why not start... not on a collision course? You've set new players up to die immediately, rather than see a core game mechanic (and then, probably, die). It's a kind of dickish introduction to an otherwise fun game

Loved Last rocket, but...

Controls are just no fun at all. Lovely style and sound, but just too frustrating to enjoy.
