Loved it...now, do not trust it. *CAUTION*
This was one of my most used apps for the last few weeks. I loved everything about it. The ease of use, the shuffle mode, the ability to turn off cards no longer necessary... all awesome! I was able to place all my study notes for my board exams on as needed. I've created probably between 1 and 2 thousand cards.
Why the one star? I noticed on 3 separate occasions that the app would freeze and I'd lose a small portion of data. Not too huge a deal, after all, for what the app did, I could easily remake the cards and was a sort of study session in itself. On April 26th, I spent the day, literally hours making cards for my next board exam. Probably a good 12 hours making my cards. Remembering my small losses I decided between making different sets of cards probably about every 50 cards, I'd sync my Ipad, thinking this might help to minimize data loss. When I was settled and happy with my days work in order to study for the next few weeks, the app again froze on me and about 98% of the data I spent the day creating, was gone! Not all of it, but most of it with tiny pockets of some miscellaneous data still there. If I cannot count on my data being there after hours of intense labor, this app is useless! I went from 1000% happy with this app to the other side of the spectrum. How truly unfortunate as this was a favorite.
Great App, after a few updates could be FANTASTIC
This app works exactly like you think a flashcard app should. It is simple to use and really effective. I didn't give it five stars because the app would freeze each time I tried to use the feature to study specific cards. I also think that the ability to change font size, card colors, and possibly add photos or audio to a card should be implemented. Great app overall. Anxiously awaiting updates.
A bit basic
Not the worst flashcard app on the iPad, but also far from the best. The functionality that is implemented is reasonably well done, but the feature set is quite light compared to other offerings.
It does not support images or audio, has very limited control over fonts, no options for grouping card sets, no leitner or similar study modes, and the UI is a bit of a mess in places. The quizlet support is quite good, probably the best part of the app.
