The FLIR One app together with the FLIR One iPhone accessory turns your iPhone into a thermal camera.
With the ability to see what the naked eye can't, the FLIR One provides a visual image of minute temperature differences, giving users the power to see in the dark, observe invisible heat sources, compare relative temperatures, and see through smoke.
The FLIR One (1st generation) for the iPhone5 and 5s fits on the phone like a protective case, displays a live thermal image of the world around you right on the phone's screen, and captures still images and videos.
The FLIR One (2nd generation) fits all iOS devices with a Lightning connector, displays a live thermal image of the world around you right on the phone's screen, and captures still images and videos.
Created to enhance the FLIR One device experience, the FLIR One app, provides a simple and intuitive user interface with a variety of functions that make it easy to collect and share compelling and useful thermal images. It can load captured images directly to the Camera Roll and allows users to easily share on Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels, among many other features.
The FLIR One houses its own battery source that can power the device for more than 2 hours (1st generation) or 45 minutes (2nd generation) of continuous use.

What's New in Version 2.0.51
Fixed MSX edge detection on iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2, and other devices using A7 SoC.
Needs work. Wow still didn't fix these things
First there needs to be an option to turn on and off the flir watermark.
Also using the time lapse there is no elapse time marker on the video even though there is an option
Also! When recording a video there is always a "3" at the beginning. For example, it'll show 30:00 and 31:00 if you have recorded 1 min of video.
Also! I would like the ability to set the high and low threshold for the hot and cold filters. Would be even better if I can have one more filter where I can manually set the minimum and maximum temperatures to show the single color in a gray scale. This can help me identify people or animal in a field by settings minimum for their hear signature and a maximum(sometimes street lights run hotter and I can negate those signatures)
Needs some work
App Crashes Everytime
When I first bought this a few months ago I didn't have any problems. The app worked just as it was supposed to and never crashed. I went to use my FLIR one the other night, and the app would not stay open. It would crash upon opening every time. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it still crashed. I tried restarting my iPhone and it worked for about 30 seconds but then it crashed. And continues to crash now.
Works as expected
Does exactly what it supposed to do, and has a few nice features. Not sure what people gave it to scores on here.
At first I thought it was freezing, but the shutter refreshes every few seconds to recalibrate the image. Good thing I read the manual.
