INFORMATION ON YOUR TRIP
You have access to your trip information and ticket at any time via your phone. Let the app guide you to your bus stop. Important information, such as delays or changes concerning the bus stop, will be shared with you via push notification or a text message so you won´t miss any information. Very important: don’t forget to allow push notifications!
Every ticket includes 1 free handbag on board and 1 free suitcase/travel bag. Unlike flights or others means of transportation, you can easily and affordably bring more luggage with you on the bus. Bicycle spaces are also available – just choose the option you need during the booking process. Our bus drivers are happy to help you stow them away. Overall a horrible company, especially costumer service
I get it, the prices of their shuttles are cheap but it’s not worth it since their horrible costumer service and the bus isn’t comfortable at all. I’ve given this company multiple chances but never again. The first time scheduling with this company, I was stranded at a bus stop for 4 hours and it never showed up and I was not given a refund. The second time using this bus, it was a 9 hour shuttle which I couldn’t even sleep on because the seats were so small and close together. On one of the 5 minute stops, a passenger on my bus was allowed off by the bus driver and then the bus driver left him in a not very nice part of town at 3 o’clock in the morning and didn’t have a care in the world. When arriving to my destination, I was given the wrong luggage and I did not realize until the bus pulled away. So, I called their costumer service which told me to drive to the end of the bus’ stops to meet the driver to retrieve my luggage. I drove an hour and a half to only realize that the bus didn’t show up at that stop so I was stuck with no luggage and when contacting customer service again, I was given poor information and then told i wasn’t going to get my luggage for another 2-4 WEEKS. Overall, their unhelpful customer service and uncomfortable seats, the ride really isn’t worth it. I would research taking a nicer and more expensive shuttle than go through the miserable experience of taking the FlixBus ever again.
WATCH OUT with declined card payments
This is how FlixBus works: I added a trip to their shopping cart and they decline my credit card payment saved on file three times. I check with my bank they didn't even try charging it. All information is correct and triple checked, and the bank is ready for transaction. I tried again, nothing. Declined. So I try another card in another bank and the exact same scenario happens: nothing wrong with info, bank doesn't see any attempts to charge the card. So I went back to search and found the cause of the problem --while trying to pay, tickets had magically gone up €10 a piece. I give them the benefit of the doubt and think demand is high or tickets are getting scarce for this trip. Still, trying to cover all possible problems I tried from a different phone. Guess what. The tickets had NOT gone up when I searched there, they were still at the same price I saw initially. I figure out just how rotten they are but have no other companies serving the area I'm trying to visit, so I proceed to pay with the same credit card that was declined three times. It worked no problem. Duh.
My advise is to not let them fool you when they decline your payments, they are just forcing you to pay more when it is not necessary. And even better advise is to not get robbed, use RegioJet instead. It is an infinity better, and so far they haven't tried to pull this nonsense on me or my friends.
