Best Period Tracker ever?

BreeSifuentes

I’m in love with this app. It’s definitely one of the best women’s health apps out there. I have odd periods and being able to know when they’re coming is the best thing ever, especially being in school where it’s best to come prepared. I love the insights and the ability to log symptoms, sexual activity, etc. I’ve been more conscious about my own health since starting this app and my body appreciates it.

If I could ask that anything be added onto this app, I would ask for more personalization. When I say personalization, I don’t mean being able to add your own pictures to your profile or anything like that. I would love to see the app focus more on your chosen birth control or menstrual choice (Like seeing more advice/tips/etc for pads if you choose pads, or if you choose cups, more advice/tips for cups. And for sex, tips/advice on the safest, cleanest, and healthiest way to take care of yourself while being sexually active and things like that.) I would also love to see more quizzes. Maybe a quiz to help you find a new birth control or menstrual option. Kinda like one of those “What is the best for you?” type of thing.

At the end of the day, this app works perfect as is, and I’ll continue to use it for as long as it’s up & running. Never had an issue, love the options and variety it has, and I simply can’t say more good enough things about it. Thank you to the creators/developers and all those who work(ed) on this app!

Amazing but needs a touch.

Don't get me wrong, Flo is amazing and you'll never use another app after you download this but it could use a few touches. The one idea I have isn't really important but if you want to have more fun with the app you should also have the choice of using your own photo for a background picture. Doing this would make it a little more fun along with being able to choose the color of the circles or bubbles. Also, it would be cool if people could make their own articles for everyone to read but make a separate column you can click on, incase viewers don't want to read other people's. And lastly, the articles usually talk about tampons. Not everyone wears them including me. It would be great if you could tell everyone how they work and if it hurts. I personally am really sensitive about "down there" and it would be great to know what it's like. Or even talk more about pads. Right now I read things I can on the internet and see how to insert them and everything. But I rly think sticking something up there is really nasty. Again just my opinion. But overall this game is really good. If it was just a little more fun and fit for everyone I would be giving it 5 stars. But hopefully something I said can come true.

Pretty good

The reason I downloaded this app was because I have fairly irregular periods. They have always been irregular, but I discovered that I have hypothyroidism which contributes greatly to irregular periods. I am also breastfeeding and have been breastfeeding for 18 months. I do notice that when I take my thyroid medication my periods become a lot more predictable and more normal. So, with that being said I did not expect this app to be spot on for me. I am just not one of those women who have a really predictable cycle. If you have a predictable cycle than this app will work great for you!! It tells you ovulation days so you can try (or avoid) getting pregnant. It reminds you when your period is due which is nice. Since my periods aren’t regular it took about 4-6 cycles to actually get the app to correctly predict my periods which is understandable. It’s important to log all your symptoms because that’s how it tells which phase you are in. This month it said I was supposed to start, but when I updated my symptoms, it changed the date I was due for my period. My period actually came 3 days before it was “due” but still, that’s pretty good guessing with someone who has irregular cycles. I do also love that they have articles you can read that educate you about your body. 4.5 stars.
