Match App Design with the delicious Flour Bakery food
First, I am a huge fan of Flour Bakery’s sandwiches and pastries, and the wonderful staff at the physical locations. while the app is functional, I would love the app to be organized and redesigned to feel more like an app. The first time I opened the app, I did understand the “order” button was on the homepage and would like a way to clearly browse the menu. Finding previous transactions was not clear either in the side navigation bar.
Have only tried to order through the app two times and both times have had problems. It won’t let you order a latte, so that’s fantastic. Also, I selected one store location and it defaulted to another. Called the store to cancel and they told me I have to contact level up for a refund and they have no access to the data in order to either apply the money to another store or refund through the app. Brilliant. The in-store payment is the best, probably the only thing, of value in this app.
Who designed this app?
I am very surprised at how bad the UX in this mobile app. I accidentally ordered a sandwich in a wrong location. When I realized that happened, I was panicking looking for a cancel order... and it is nowhere to be found. I ended up have to call the store myself. Also, the typography is horrible ( it is cute but unreadable). Who have thought of using this font for customer support ? I barely read what I was writing to Flour...
