Flutter allows you to control your music & movies using natural hand gestures via built-in webcam on your Mac. You can play, pause and skip songs & videos in iTunes, Spotify, Rdio, MPlayerX (most recent version), VLC (more recent version), Ecoute, Quicktime, YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, and Grooveshark.
- Play/Pause your music & videos using simple hand gestures (palm gesture)
- Go to Next Song (thumbs right) or rewind to Previous Song (thumbs left) (Note: First thumbs left gesture takes you to beginning of song. Another thumbs left performed quickly jumps to the previous song)
- Works via your webcam -- no additional hardware necessary
- Works best from 1-6 feet distance from webcam
- Works even when Spotify, iTunes, Rdio, and other apps are playing music/video in the background or are minimized

What's New in Version 0.7.12
Fixes OSX 10.6 crashes.
Welcome addition to my Mac!
I honestly did not expect this app to work as well as it is displayed to, but it works amazing! This is by far one of the coolest apps I have been able to download! The gesture control really is neat for thoes of you, like me, who are listening to music and all of a sudden someone starts talking to you or you get a phone call. Just hold your hand up and the music stops on its own! Hold it up again and it will just resume playing. Worth the money!
Cool if you're right in front of your computer, NOT for TV/couch use.
I really wanted this to control my TV computer from the couch -- but nope, that won't work. It really expects you to be within 4-5 feet from the camera, otherwise it doesn't work at all.
If you just want to watch TV in front of your computer, it's very cool and works great. But don't buy for media center or TV use from more than a few feet away!
Not consistent enough for the price
Looking forward to improvements on this, but I wish I wouldn’t have spent the money on it. It works sometimes and is very cool but you can’t count on it working easily and so far I’d say 80% of the time I just look dumb trying to get it to recognize my hand…
Definitely couldn’t use during a presentation, which is the main reason I bought it. Oh well - cool idea. Here’s hoping it gets better
