A good start: works well, but could use a few more features
There are some truly great Tilt Shift apps for iOS, but none on the Mac are up to the same quality and combination of features. However this app works *great* and does exactly what it says it does. The presets are helpful and the ability to customize the filter is complete and everythign that you'd expect. I've had no problem exporting images from the app and they come out beautifully. There are two things missing that could make it a five star app worth the $15:
1) Vignette. Most tilt shift filters allow you to apply vignetting to the image at the same time, it enhances the effect and helps make the focus of the image pop even more. This shouldn't be too hard to add to the controls in the side bar that this app uses. Size and intensity of the vignetting should also be easily customizable. Add this feature and I'd consider this app complete, a solid four star effort.
2) Being able to use the custom focus matte tool they have IN COMBINATION with the tilt shift effect. In other words, if you could add AND subtract to the inner circle of the tilt shift effects they have, it would add a truly unique feature that no one else has and would draw users in. It would truly be a five-star app, and a bargain at that.
Good but need a little improvement
I love the custom focus feature in this app! But I wish I could zoom into where I am painting in the focus! This is the only negaive to this app and sadly its a bit negative since I can't really see where I am putting the focus on more delicate details. This results in some pretty poor looking Photos. Please update this app and give it a zoom in feature!!!! If the developer does this then this app is 120% worth its price.
I want a refund.
This app does everything it's supposed to except save/share/export the pictures. As one user said in his review, it spits out a digital mess. What good is this app if I can't save or view my edited photos outside of the app?
I'd like a response from the developer about how to fix this or my money back.
