APP STORE FEATURED & MACWORLD GEM - End the chaos of messy folders.

Organize any folder with tons of built-in rules or create powerful custom ones. Folder Tidy uses all available CPUs for the fastest tidy possible and can handle GBs or even TBs of files.

With one click Folder Tidy will sort the files from the messy folder into the appropriate sub folders (Pictures, Word Documents, Numbers, Archives, etc).

Need a little more control? Open up the preferences, change the order of the built-in rules, or start to make custom rules. Use the powerful predicate editor to make pretty much any rule you'd like. For example, create a rule to move all photos with a size bigger than 5MB and older than a year into a folder.

Check out some of the awesome features:

• Organize your files into subfolders based on the file type and/or rules.
• Use one of the many built-in rules, or create powerful ones based on predicates.
• Choose what types of files to clean up.
• Choose files and folders to ignore during a clean up.
• Choose where to put the cleaned up files and folders.
• Options to ignore aliases, folders and anything with a label.
• Ability to undo the clean up.
• Over 600 five star ratings internationally.

've never regretted an app purchase more in my life.

This app ripped apart a years worth of organized files on in organized folders in order to "declutter" the 4 random files I happened to have on my desktop. Everything I've done for work, or pleasure, and all the things that run those files (fonts, folder paths, etc) are all now sprewed across my computer.

Sound dramatic? Well I did this becuase I wanted to clean up my desktop before I meeting I have in 30 minutes. I figured it couldn't hurt to tidy up since I'll be sharing my screen to present a 130 page powerpoint that now has its images, videos, fonts, and embed missing. I'm choosing to write this instead of spending my time re-assembling those folders becuase thats easily 3-4 hours of work. I'm ruined for this meeting. Hopefully one less person wonn't be in the future.

I want my money, and potentially my potentially my job back please.

We're sorry to hear this happened after using Folder Tidy. Out of curiosity why wasn't the undo feature used? This is exactly what it's for - in case the outcome is not what was expected and to experiment with cleanup rules. We even have a warning alert on quit that mentions the undo is only available while the app is open, so that would have had to been ignored. For a refund, you can request one from Apple since they don't give us any access to customer information.

Files dissappeared

My files simply dissapeared from all folders after the tidy process was done. Guess what,t here is no undo option once you close the app! Tried to contact the suport to solve the issue, but all i got is automated response that they wil contact me within 2 business days. This is a total waste of time and money. Probably developer will post an automated reply that they are sorry not to have my expectations. No need to be sorry, you just ruined my whole day which I have to spend restoring my stuff.  You guys better make your app safe and reversible.
Thanks God I have time machine to restore the computer.

We did reply to your email and asked for more information since we weren't provided with enough information to make any suggestions or provide proper help. Folder Tidy does have a full undo feature that is available while the app is open AND there is a warning prompt before quitting to notify of this. Folder Tidy uses the standard macOS move functions so if it fails for any reason, the file stays in the original location. If you can reply to our email and provide more details, we're be more than willing to help out and see what happened so you can find where it sorted the files to.

Worth every penny the first time you use it!

First time was worth every penny. I can’t wait to use this for other projects. Had hundreds of subfolders and it did hours and days worth of work in 4 minutes. This is a life-saver! Thank you so much for creating this. :)
