for i: Code Editor for the iPad
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Code editing just arrived on the iPad!
Take your programming and design projects with you on the road, and get that killer app done in no time!
With [for i] you get:
Beautiful syntax highlighting for many languages, including C, c#, Objective C, Java, HTML, PHP, Ruby, Python, SQL (*) and more.
Customize the look and feel with your favorite fonts and colors.
Transfer files to and from the app with a built in web server (requires a Wi-Fi network).
Our keyboard provides useful often-used keys for easy access and quick typing. You can also use Apple's Keyboard dock or a bluetooth keyboard with common shortcuts (CMD-Z for Undo, arrow keys for navigation etc.)
Take snapshots of your files and revert back in any time.
We're constantly improving [for i] and will have some improvements ready real soon, including better indentation rules, more accurate syntax highlighting and symbol/function selectors.
Plans for the future include Git integration, import of TextMate bundles (without the shell commands, of course), building projects through distcc servers, MSDN and ADC documentation integration and much more.

(*) We know, we know, you don't need SQL highlighting on the go. But it doesn't hurt, does it?
What's New in Version 1.0.2
Fixed various crashes
Pinch to zoom text
Better file management
Added support for ActionScript 3 and ColdFusion
Added essential characters to on-screen keyboard
Great to read programs but needs more features
Great app. for reading and going over a program. One feature it really needs is opening each program file in a tab and able to switch between files faster instead of going through the list of programs.
Where is the app tester?
This is great just what I wanted except for the app tester. But sience I'm new to programming, I don't know that much about it so I'd enjoy a place to test the app I'm making. So if there is one, I hope the company would make it more visable, or, add one if there isn't.
Needs some work
This one needs a little more time in QA. I went to this app looking as an alternative to iCode. Repositioning the text insertion point (cursor) is an essential activity and should be isolated before anything else. Making mistakes is torture with this app. There some nice features that are a step of using a word processor, but the core navigation should not a problem in an app like this :(
