Perfect App!!!
This app is so easy to use and it has all my favorite shows in one place and current seasons at that! Love this app! I binge watch my shows on here as much as I binge watch shows on Netflix! Only thing that is annoying are all the ads between one episode but some episodes are ad free sometimes! But being able to keep up with your favorite shows current season is awesome!!! And super handy especially when you do not have a TV or satellite! Just piggy back on your parents satellite account and you got all shows right at your finger tips! You just need their account login info! Naturally if you do have TV and satellite just use your account and you have all your favorites Tv episodes on the go! Love this app!!
Horrible implementation.
I had to use the app today because FOX's broadcast of 24: Legacy last night was all screwed up. Worst. Experience. Ever. Why do I have to sit through 3 minutes of commercials to start the show and an additional 3 minutes of commercials during each "commercial break" when I've signed in with my subscriber info? I could understand forcing commercials on me if I wasn't already paying for DIRECTV service, but this is ridiculous. I'd rather risk torrenting a show than deal with this awful implementation.
They finally fixed the app after the latest update broke it, but not after suggesting to "reset network settings" when it was happening on several different devices.
Convenient overall.
As a firefighter it is impossible to catch shows in their entirety. Apps like these make it possible. The editing and placement of the ads needs some work though. They often kill the audio of the show before the ad begins and are placed before the scene ends. Also on older model Apple TV's it often crashes and then starts from the beginning. I really hope Apple isn't trying to force me into replacing all my Apple TV's for the new one 1 new and 3 old is enough money, right?
