Frame.io is the world’s most popular video collaboration platform, used by over 300,000 filmmakers and media pros just like you.
Frame.io allows you to upload all your source media, work in progress clips, and assets into private workspaces where you can invite your team and clients to collaborate. We replace the hodgepodge of Dropbox for file sharing, Vimeo for video review, and Email for communication, but that's just a start. Now you can take Frame.io with you wherever you go.
We built Frame.io because…
▶ Managing 100 private Vimeo passwords sucks.
▶ Your clients’ cryptic feedback of “that thing around 12 seconds” never made sense.
▶ Trudging through your email to find that download link from that person for that file from last week. Ugh.
▶ It’s 10PM and you don’t know if your edit was approved (or even viewed).
▶ It’s 11PM and now you have to export and compress your edit in 25 different formats.
Forget all that madness. We can do better. So. Much. Better. Frame.io has awesome tools for video pros to save you time and money. Things like…
◆ Time based comments and video annotations so you can draw directly on video frames to accurately communicate your feedback.
◆ Video transcoding in the cloud so you can upload any video format and never worry about playback compatibility. It'll just work.
◆ Version control so you can see what your project looked like 1 version ago or 100 versions ago.
◆ Comment Replay - loops a 4 second range around any comment so you can get a sense of what it means in context.
◆ TouchScrub - just slide your finger over a thumbnail to preview.
◆ 3D Touch Support with Peek and Pop
◆ Touch ID for added security
Most importantly, it’s super simple to use and gorgeously designed.

Ratings and Reviews
You can’t go wrong with a collaboration tool that actually works. And boy, does Frame.io help creative pros get stuff done by creating a much-needed platform for video review and feedback. It also integrates perfectly with Final Cut. Thanks for transforming our day; this Apple Design Award is well-earned.
Useless on iPad
I’m guessing the app works well on an iPhone. Haven’t tried it. I want to watch and read comments on my iPad.
There, it’s utterly useless. My iPad sits comfortably on my desk in landscape mode. As soon as the app takes over, it switches to portrait and forces me to hold the iPad and turn it, so it can’t sit on a desk anymore. Plus, it takes up an iPhone sized screen, instead of using my entire screen.
So.. I realize I need to use the web interface on Safari instead. I launch that... and it loads the app without asking me. Great. Time to delete the app entirely.
Now the Safari interface works, except the vimeo website is pretty awful on iPad safari. I tried for 5 minutes and couldn’t load up comments for a video. I can get a video to play... but it won’t show comments at the same time.
Maybe there’s a way to do it, I have no idea. I know it’s easy on my Mac. And i would assume it’s easy on the iPhone app.
But currently, frame io does not play with iPad well, and that’s a big negative for me. I use an iPad instead of a laptop, and most apps are fully functional on it. Frame io dropped the ball here, hoping this gets fixed asap.
Besides T Lopez, our host, Frame io Is the best thing that ever happened to our show. We have been using Frame io to connect all producers and editors working on our tv show. Having several segments to the show it was difficult to transfer content, make notes and send info back and forth until we found this system. As a producer I greatly appreciate the ability to view and make comments from my mobile device. Five Stars and much love to the guys who created this 🤘🤘
