Fantastic styles, app almost there
I have shopped with F&O since the beginning and have seen the various iterations of the app. This is by far the most visually appealing, but it does not adhere to typical iOS design behaviours. To go back, typically one can swipe from the edge of the left screen to go back a screen, the back arrow sends you back just fine but it’s a reach. However, when going back the whole page has to reload and it takes you back to the top, which is very frustrating when you are looking at items at the bottom of the page.
Also, sometimes the app doesn’t seem well situated for the iPhone X screen and things are hard to see.
Keep up the amazing styles!
Firstly, I really like Frank + Oak’s clothing. Like another reviewer, most of my closet is F+O.
The current version of the app is several steps backwards. It’s basically a mobile web browser but worse. Little things make for an unappealing shopping experience, like how the clothing gallery reloads at the top of the page every single time you click on an item. The app also resets instantly if you leave the app. And there is no zoom option (if there is, it doesn’t work) when looking at clothes. The UI is ugly and amateurish. It could be more intuitive. I’m tempted to give the app one star, but it’s technically functional. I just use the actual mobile browser or desktop site. I cannot express how frustrating this app is considering Frank + Oak had a version that worked just fine.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
