What's New in Version 3.2
As Joe Biden would say: it’s a big f’n deal. This brand new app has been rebuilt from the ground up. Not only does it look better, it’s also twice as fast and twice as easy to use so you can cop all our latest releases while hiding in the bathroom at work. We won’t tell (or judge).
New Features & Notable Improvements:
-Live chat 24/7 with our Personal Stylists (Up at 3 a.m. racking your brain about which shirt to wear? We got you.)
-2-Hour Delivery in select markets (Pre-meeting mishap? Get a new shirt, stat.)
-Shop in HD with crystal clear photos and videos (It’s like glasses for your phone)
-Save and share your favorite styles
-Sync your shopping cart between the app and website
Missing some simple features.
The two things that they have left out on this app that I wish they had added are the ability to book a barber appointment in places like Montreal and Toronto. I love getting my cut at Frank and Oak in Montreal but I would love to have the app be a one stop shop. Additionally I want integration of the size chart system on their website that utilized your sizes in shirts/pants from other brands, to help size you for F&O shirts. That helps to get the exact size you want: very important at a smaller company with a large e-commerce presence. I don't want to have to measure myself, I want to tell you what fits me and then have the app figure it out.
I loved F&O when they first came out, and was a member of their club for a couple years. I based most of my wardrobe on their collections. I quit a few years back when they started doing mostly hipster fashion. I thought I'd check them out again but I see they've completed the transition to H&M. And now with this update, they destroyed their app - it doesn't even start in shopping mode, what a bad UI choice - and their logo. (I don't get it. What was wrong with the dogs? And the steps? Oh I get it, "elevate". Pretty literal there.) Anyway, they used to offer great well-fitting clothes for professional men with a bit of style. Now it's apparently for scruffy long-haired kids. Pass.
Great service, quality clothes, solid app
I've purchased clothing from Frank and Oak for a few seasons now and I've ale always been satisfied with the items I've received. Returns are really easy so you can try on everything at home without worrying about it.
