Obsolete app, NOT for FRC 2015 !!!
Even though the main page on the app has three document icons (two of them identically indicating simply "FRC" and a Dec 10, 2014 timestamp while the third indicates "Updates" and a date of Dec 16, 2014) the app does not actually contain any documents. Instead, hyperlinks take you to the U.S. FIRST website for Archives of last year's Aerial Assist 2014 FRC events, scores, manuals, etc.
Search the App store for "FIRST - Official" and you should find the app published by FIRST. It contains documents for FLL and FRC that are saved on your device for off-line use. It is not very functional either. Actually very frustrating on an iPhone 6+. Your best bet is to get the "FIRST-Official" app just so you know when there are updates, then open the (updated) pdf files from the FRC or FLL website at U.S.FIRST using iBooks. This will give you a much better pdf file reader than the FIRST app.
Here's the problem...
The problem with this app is that it's just a wrapper around a locally stored web page, which have a tendency to freeze up. While this app works reasonably well for what it's supposed to, the experience and ease-of-use is below the standards one might expect from FIRST of all places. Using a full screen web page as your app does simplify the development, but it is a newbie mistake and is generally only used by apps that aren't expected to run fast. (Which isn't really any app...) While the app does fine, it could be improved tremendously by using the device's native interface.
Crashing
I love the app, but when I go to view the field dimensions, it goes to the website, I load the PDF file, then the app crashes 5 seconds later. Please fix!
