Klondike Solitaire, a game known by many as Patience, Klondike or Solitaire Classic, is the quintessential Solitaire game. Everyone knows and loves this solitaire game and with this new and improved version, you’ll love it even more. Sit down, relax and enjoy this timeless classic.

Spider Solitare is one of the world’s most popular version of the solitaire card game. The game is played with two decks of cards, unlike Klondike (Solitaire), which is played with one. This makes for a more challenging card solitaire experience.

Freecell Solitaire is by many considered to be the most balanced version of all the solitaire card game versions out there. Unlike many of the other versions of solitaire, almost all games can be won. This makes for a much more relaxing solitaire experience.

Bugs and poorly developed

Spades (2 suits) has bugs. The game begins with stacks of cards face down except for the topmost card. As you rearrange the top cards, the ones below, which are face down, should flip over so we can play it. Well, sometimes they don’t flip over, so all you see is the back of the card, with no idea what it is. That’s a big bug. Another bug is when you set a card on an empty slot and suddenly there’s another card behind the one you just put, which was empty. How did that card get there? Who knows. Another thing I don’t like is that tapping on a card will not stack it on top of another of correct sequence if the card is of a different suit. You have to click it and manually drag it where you want it to go. For instance, when you click on a red queen, it won’t stack it on top of a black king for you, you have to drag it manually. It will stack a red queen on top of a red king, but not a black king. That’s all I’ve found in 20 minutes of playing, but that’s enough. The graphics are barely mediocre, and the user interface leaves A LOT to be desired. I don’t like it. I gave it two stars, because one star is "I hate it" and I don’t feel that strongly about it.

Dangerous attachments?

I uninstalled this. When I played it, it seems that I would always get an “warning” from a website that “whatis” tells me was in Panama, claiming the last site I visited put 3 viruses on my Mac and showing a screen that mimicked an Apple site with an “antivirus” download and text demanding I that download and run it. I have a legitimate antivirus on my Mac which didn’t find anything. Am I certain that this program caused the problem? No, I’m not certain, but since I unistalled it and ran a cleaner, the “warning" hasn’t reappeared.

Fun and Addictive

For the most part this is a flawless game. Sometimes the cards in the left most column come out of alignment and you have to slide the bottom one down to see what the next card is. Minor issue but not insurmountable. Otherwise, definitely enjoyable and good automatic card movement when appropriate
