Phenomenal App, Food, and Service
I have been using Freshly for several months now and am beyond satisfied. This App is incredibly user friendly. I am not sure about the sign up process as I already had an account when I downloaded the app, but from my experience it is incredibly user friendly and organized and it just looks good.
The food itself is also awesome. I have certain meals that I like more than others but I honestly haven’t tried one yet that I actually disliked. All of the meals I get are gluten free and there are several meatless and low-cal options as well. To have all these healthy, balanced meals prepared and delivered to you is great and it’s even better that they are all so delicious!
Beyond all this, what caused me to want to leave a review is their customer service. Last week I never received my delivery of meals. This was the first issue of any kind I’ve had with their deliveries. I called in and informed customer service of this and without any further questioning they processed my refund in full (I received the email it had been processed when I was still on the phone with them). On top of that they also gave me a discount on the next week’s order. I have been so pleased with the food up til now and I was very happy to see the customer service was just as good. This company rocks!

I have tried pretty much every meal planning service on the face of the earth at this point. I’ve been waiting for freshly to come to my area, and finally! It’s here! I’ve only had one delivery so far but I am absolutely thrilled with the service and the quality of the meals. This is such a wonderful easy way to eat healthy, and because I don’t have the cooking and cleanup, it’s also stopping me from eating out as often. The meals are perfectly portioned and filling. My first delivery there was only one meal that I didn’t particularly enjoy, but the rest were great! My only complaint is that the meals don’t change as often as I would like. Being that I just started I have lots of new meals to try, but I imagine in a few months I may start skipping weeks only because the meals stay mostly the same. The app is very handy and even has a function to chat with staff, which has been very helpful when I had questions. So far this is my favorite, and if they start rotating more meal changes I will definitely be staying with them!

The worst experience !!
They failed to deliver my food two times in a row and I was depending both the times on the meal that was supposed to get get delivered instead of making one by my own. By the time I figured it out that they messed it up, it was too late in the evening to start making my meal for that evening.
You would need to understand that you are dealing with very sensitive part of our life, our meal, our time that it takes to prepare that meal and our entire planning (that we make depending on that meal) for that evening .
Evrytime I reach out, I get an apology and a refund. But you do need to understand a refund at that mkment won’t help to fix the situation that you created for the person at receiving end.
And by this time I see there to be three addresses, and one of them without my apt no. To mention I have not added the 2nd and 3rd address. Everytime I call customer care, they ask my address for veryfication and somehow that creates a new instance of address in my address list.
Please understand my account information is my information that only I should have control on, how some other person can add address to my account?
There is even no way to find out the amount of store credit from the app that one has. Each time they fail to deliver, they says they are also adding store credit as compensation (and which is not enought considering the sensitivy of the servise the are responsible for) and one has no visibilty to that store credit.

We would certainly like to investigate this situation further, and also help clarify why new addresses were added to your subscription. Our team would likely add a new address only if there was an error with the old one, or if we were adding a specific note to your address (such as to deliver the meals to a particular place).
