1st Time Flying Frontier
Five stars. Flying with 83 yr old mother. Wheel chair was waiting for her. Friendly employees. Website a little bit hard to use, but that doesn’t detract from review. No frill airline with great prices, caring employees for a senior traveling partner. Have used Delta, American, United, and Hawaiian Airlines and I’m impressed with reasonableness of Frontier airline’s service. This is now my designated airline. Flight was direct and direct flight was not offered on other major airlines with one and two hour wait times including deplaning to catch connecting flights. I fly a lot so I’ve compared other airlines and now this is my go to airline. Will use other major airline when Frontier airlines is not going to the destination I need to go. Wish they’d have an
800 number and maybe they do and would also like a self check machine at the airport, but anyway this is not detracting me from using Frontier. My real name is Mercedes Gonzalez from Orange County, CA and this is a real review. I’ll have my travel buddy’s go with me on future trips on Frontier. I’m recommending this airline. Terrible customer service
We arrived at the airport at 5:15 for our 7:15 flight. After two delays we received a text message from the company that the flight had been canceled. 35 minutes later an employee finally came out to announce the cancellation. As we started asking questions like “will we get our money back” or “do you have any more flights going out we can get on” each time a piece of paper was picked up and shaken in our faces and were told to read the paper just like everyone else. Worst service ever!!!!!! We were all states away from home with no where to go and no help from frontier. And our refund could be expected within two weeks. All I could think of is how I hoped everyone there could find funds to purchase another ticket to where they were going. Because last minute tickets are crazy expensive. I will never fly frontier again!!!! They gave me a $100 voucher off my next flight with them but I’ll never use it!!!
Some people really don’t like to pay for a carry on bag, neither do I really. The great thing is you can always find a quick trip for a few days and carry a personal bag. That means no waiting in line at the airport and the price is fantastic! My daughter and I took a quick get away that I selected from one of the email deals for less than $200! Total! Round trip for 2 ! You can’t beat that. Even if you need more luggage just buy the bundle that includes carry on , checked bag and premium seats. You will still pay less than other airlines most of the time. JUST Do NOT take a suit case that exceeds the weight or size because you will pay the fine! This cuts down on fuel costs for the plane. Plain and simple.
