Ratings and Reviews
Works (with effort) for SyncThing
UPDATE 2 (late 2018) : COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. Most functions cause crash. iOS 12, iPad Pro 10.5.
Avoid at absolutely all costs until the developer can release a complete overhaul. App used to be great. Here’s hoping they can recover.
UPDATE 1 (mid 2018) : After another hour or so Playing with settings and rebooting devices, I was able to get this app to connect to one (of several) of my devices. So, I am upgrading my rating to three stars (because I was able to get it to work in a pinch after several tries) while I investigate further.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought this app with the hope that the earlier reviews were wrong... sadly, after much troubleshooting and playing around, it appears that this app is entirely broken. Paired it with multiple devices and made sure all folder names and keys matched. Nothing.
Worst Syncthing client I have used.
This is extremely dumbed down compared with other Syncthing clients. I have as of yet not been able to receive folder invite only share new folders. Props to the developers for attempting this in iOS I imagine that Apples walled garden has crippled the functionality making Syncthing somewhat impossible to get work correctly.
Its clunky and I don't trust it to work. It needs updating/polish.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
