Full-Res (Zoom High Resolution Viewer)

Unlock the hidden pixels in your photos!
Full-Res will make all of your iPhone photos look clearer at high zoom levels!
Full-Res was designed to display large images like trail maps, comics, and images taken with high resolution cameras. The default viewer displays these high resolution images as a blurry mess. Full-Res uses a tile based rendering system to efficiently display these high resolution images. You are free to zoom in closer, and see fine details.
It's amazing that any image taken with the iPhone's camera can be made clearer at high zoom when displayed in Full-Res.
The iPhone 3G takes 2.0 megapixel images that are 1200X1600 pixels in size (3GS photos are even larger). Unfortunately the default viewer does not display the images at their full resolution. This leaves a pixilated/grainy appearance when zoomed in.
Full-Res uses the default Photo Library as a source for images, so you have instant access to all of the photos on your phone. You can take images with the built in camera, get images from the web, or get images from your email. All using the standard iPhone programs. Then you can view the images in Full Res.
High resolution images from email or the web can be displayed at MUCH higher resolutions than in the default viewer. We have tested images up to 4096X4096 pixels. This allows you to view images at a high enough resolution to see fine details on maps, comics, or other images.
If you've ever wanted to zoom in more on an iPhone photo, or if you ever wanted to view a huge image on your phone, this app is for you!
The attached screenshot shows the real life difference in a photo taken with the iPhone camera when viewed in Full-Res vs. when viewed in the default photo viewer. The results speak for themselves.
Please send us feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to know what you think, and how we can make the app better. Thanks!
To save the new zoomed in image, simply press the top and front buttons on the iPhone, and it will take a screenshot.
What's New in Version 1.1
-Status bar hidden so you can take screen shots.
-Image orientation accounted for.
-Can rotate images
-Limits zooming out to screen bounds
This is one of the best photography apps out there. Get it now! To take a screenshot in 3.0 (since it seems some of you can't take them in 3.0) just hold down the sleep button for 1 sec then keep holding it but press the home button. I was so surprised with how much better the resolution on all of my pictures was. Great job guys! Keep up the awesome work!
Does what it says. Great!
I have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen, and recently saved some very large pictures from the web. I went to view them in the default "Photos" app, and could not read the small print in said images. I was skeptical at first, due to the mixed reviews, but believe me. This app does what it says, but no more.
Just what I needed
This app let's you zoom in on high-res images further than you can in the native Photos app.
Its not an "enhance" button and doesn't "make images clearer" just let's you see the full detail of pictures/photos that you can't zoom enough to see in te Photos app.
