Great! A couple requests!
I love the focus and simplicity of this app. Just short news reports updated when they're updated, and the ability to turn sources on and off.
Would be better if it had more clarity in-app about what you are listening to so it's easier to pause (similar to the common "now playing" bar we see in other audio-playing apps, only something more elegant as this app deserves that!).
Also skip forward and back controls (maybe 5s?) would be really great as sometimes you want to skip a story and scrubbers are a little tricky on phones.
Almost ready to replace one of my old favorite apps
This app mirrors a lot of the functionality of one of my favorite old apps that is about to become obsolete with the new change the 32-bit programs. One problem that this app faces is that you cannot leave the app and have the audio still play. I want to be able to use my GPS in the car while still getting my morning news. It seems strange that I have to have the app open to listen to my favorite news podcasts
I can't recommend this enough. The best news app hands down.
Hands down the best news app. It's simple, it's clean, and it does exactly what it intends to do. I love the design and the functionality it holds. Only reason it isn't five stars is because there are a few bugs here and there that need to be worked out and that there are only seven news sources. But once those bugs are fixed and more sources (maybe reports on different topics?) then it will be a quality app for sure.
