Futuur is a social forecasting game built on the idea of a prediction market, a proven way of using the wisdom of the crowd to better estimate the likelihood of future events.
On Futuur players compete to predict future events across a broad range of topics, including politics, finance, sports, science, and entertainment.
Predictions are made by purchasing shares in an outcome, using Ooms (ø), Futuur’s in-game point system. Outcomes prices range from 0ø to 1ø and represent the percentage chance that that outcome occurs, according to the community of forecasters. If the predicted outcome occurs, the forecaster will win 1ø for each share purchased.
As the crowd makes its predictions the price changes, and reflects the best and most up-to-date collective estimate of the likelihood of that outcome occurring.
The goal of Futuur is to inform better decision making by providing more accurate forecasts across the greatest breadth and depth of topics. To this end, Futuur was designed to be fast, fun and social, with a simple user interface that makes forecasting easy for anybody.
Futuur allows forecasters to improve their prediction skills learning from real-world feedback, and to show off their abilities to the world. They can follow and engage with other forecasters, and compete on the leaderboards for forecasting cred and bragging rights.

Great idea, but confusing
I’ve always wanted an app like this to happen. I love trying to predict future events. The problem is, this app, even with the tutorial, has a confusing and/or buggy interface. Two days ago, I tried buying hundreds of shares across many different topics, but my balance was the same, and I could not see my orders. I finally spent all my points yesterday, when every order magically went through right after creation, but now I have my 1,000 refunded to me an extra 4 for some reason, and it still shows 20 active wagers (again, no details or transaction history). This is not how a market should work. What is going on?
Buggy app poorly executed
I love the idea of this app but the execution is severely lacking at this time.
The user interface doesn't line up correctly making the content difficult to view.
One of my wagers has completely disappeared from view which means I have no way of tracking it. No clue how to find it.
Wagers that have been "completed" which I have correctly predicted are not paying out into my account. Very annoying as I cannot reinvest my profits.
Important terms lack any definition so users can know when exactly an event has or has not occurred.
Overall, this app needs a lot of work. In its current state, I wouldn't recommend it to others.
Buggy, buggy, buggy
As soon as one bug is fixed, three more appear.
