This app is a piece of trash. I can barely get it to load. AMC loads in 1 second. HBO loads in 3 seconds. This app spins the wheel of death at you. Then if your lucky it'll put some pictures of actors there to look at you. But to watch the actual show you want.... goood luck, your gonna have to wait. Then restart the app 16 times and maybe if your lucky and the universe aligns you may be able to connect. I'm also willing to bet this is because the corporate overlords have dictated that they should authenticate your cable subscription before loading, just to make sure there are no free loaders watching. Typical fox behavior, I would expect no less. Let's say the app actually loads eventually. Try to chromecast that... your gonna have fun... I would blame that on apple pushing their product, but you know HBO works good, amc no problems, Netflix too... but fox hahahaha. This app may actually be worse than the Fox Sports Go app. But lets say you get it to connect to chromecast.... Your liable to get stuck in a loop of ads and then the show itself never loads. I tell you it is easier by a magnitude of 10 to watch FX shows streaming through the browser through third party sources.
Commercials that make you want to throw the phone
I only downloaded this for Archer and I can't believe how much of my life I've wasted. After three minutes of show, it plays two and a half minutes of commercials. At least eight and a half minutes of commercials for 20 minutes of programming. There is no way to skip, mute, or fast forward ads or to even choose more targeted ads. Prepare for more commercials if you accidentally leave the show and try to get back to where
you left off. The agony of sitting through this is cumulative; one episode is bad, but binging several episodes in a row made me remember why I hate cable so much. Kudos to you, FXX, for successfully dragging me through this experience because I like ONE show of yours. I can't wait to delete this life-and-soul-sucking piece of trash of an advertising-delivery platform.

Bad connectivity issues, having to sign in multiple times, just problematic for me on multiple platforms, the only reason I keep it installed is certain shows are only on it.

As mentioned it's not only an issue on this platform, if a commercial can't even play through properly how is a show going to? After the first post yesterday I saw the same commercial on every commercial break but only the beginning of it, the streaming of episodes is not much better most days. I don't think the "check this FAQ" is the solution as other streaming services are nowhere near as buggy, and if you want to compete then the quality needs to be stepped up. Agin this is not only an IOS issue, it's a FXNOW app and website issue.
