G30 – A Memory Maze is a unique and minimalistic take on the puzzle genre, where each level is hand-crafted and meaningful. It’s a story of a person with a cognitive disorder, who is trying to recollect the elusive past – before the disease takes over and everything will fade away.
How would you feel, if you couldn’t recognise your life, your loved ones and even yourself? Could you find a light in the dark maze of human consciousness? Could you remember the story?
INNOVATIVE PUZZLES THAT ARE THE STORY
Each level sparks a little memory of the person’s life. It’s a two-part puzzle: a visual image of the memory and a telescopic text, that reveals itself with every step. You start with fragmented pieces of the picture attached to dashed lines. Dragging them like strings, you move parts of the image to restore it. In turn telescopic text reacts to your every step – the closer you are to the solution, the more text unfolds. And if you're not moving in the right direction, the story piece too can drift away from the truth. You are indeed remembering – adding details to the memory and forming a clear picture.
RELAXING AND ATMOSPHERIC
The game has a delightful relaxing flow with atmospheric music and haptic feedback - all this helps you to dive into this compelling story even more. No scores, no timers, no "game over".
A DEEP AND MYSTERIOUS STORY
G30 is about memory and consciousness – and what they mean for a human being. There are people around who are losing their ability to remember – some kinds of mental diseases do that to a person. G30 shows how they see the world, how they feel about the past they can’t remember and the reality they can’t recognize.

Ratings and Reviews
The art, the sound, and the haptic feedback are what make this game four stars for me. It’s short the one star because I don’t entirely understand the game. I get the premise, but the blurbs are disjointed and nonsensical in places. It took me FOREVER to figure out that I was supposed to be clicking on words throughout the puzzles. I still don’t understand what it is that makes a word clickable in the first place...
So, it’s a puzzle in the truest sense: I can’t even solve the puzzle of what the puzzle is! But I have always struggled with puzzle games (including games like Zelda that incorporate puzzles into the core gameplay) so I strongly suspect the disconnect is just me. More than likely, any person who loves puzzles will love this game.
And if you’re high-sensory like I am, you’ll enjoy the art, the sound, and the haptic feedback. 😉
Impactful and beautiful
To be frank, I very rarely rate or review apps. However, I felt compelled to do so after playing this game. It really is a maze mentally and visually, and it was a gift to experience. The story-line and the way it unraveled slowly and methodically was thought-provoking, and it left me feeling genuinely moved by its end. Again, I usually wouldn't go through the effort of writing a review on any app no matter how much I like it, but this is important. G30 is eyeopening and it reminds you of what's really important in life. It personally genuinely taught me something and made me think critically both during the puzzles and about world issues. If you're eying the price as a reason to keep from playing this game, please give it a chance. It is so very worth it.
Decent game with a couple problems
I enjoyed this game quite a bit. The story is fantastic and kept me interested. The puzzles were decent, but don’t get challenging until very late into the game. Sadly, this was after I had already lost interest in completing the puzzles and just wanted to find out how the story would wrap up. The music was ok at best. G30 has a single song that it plays on a loop and quickly became irritating after two hours into my playthrough. Overall, I think it’s worth a buy given the riveting story and intriguing mystery.
