Your most important numbers are just a swipe away: GAget puts your Analytics data in the Notification Center. And with GAget Alerts you will never miss an important traffic change.
GAget is made up of 3 important parts:
- Overview widget
- Real-Time widget*
- GAget Alerts*
The Overview widget shows you: sessions, users, page views, bounce rate, percent of new visitors, average time on site, top 8 countries your user came from, top 8 referring websites, mobile, tablet and desktop rates.
The Real-Time widget shows you real-time information about your sites & apps. The current number of users, their locations, pages and mobile data is visible in this widget.
With GAget Alerts you can set up goals to get notified about on a daily basis. For example if you want to know when the number of sessions is above 1,000, GAget Alerts will let you know. You can set up goals for sessions, users, page views, bounce rate, % new visitors and average time on site.
The app also supports logging in with multiple Google accounts.*
* Available via in-app purchase.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the main graph to show when checking the number of users in the Overview widget.
Changed in 2.1:
- Fixed a nasty bug that has caused a crash for many users in the Overview widget
- Fixed a few typos here and there

Widget Rarely Works
This widget is extremely buggy. 80% of the time I try using the widget all I get is the Spinning Circle refresh icon that hangs indefinitely. I rarely ever get any stats at all. Complete waste of time and money. Cannot recommend. UPDATE: FOLLOWED DEVELOPERS RECOMMENDATION……STILL GETTING SPINNING CIRCLES ALL DAY LONG. PLEASE ISSUE REFUND. THIS IS USELESS.
Hi, please remove the account you added and log in again. The problem should be fixed now. It was an issue with how the new online login requested access to your account.
Response to update: could you please contact me from the app (Help -> Report a bug, or over GAget's website? I really want to help you!
In-App purchases don’t work
Attempted to get full functionality by buying the in-app purchase but just get a 403 forbidden message from the mac appstore. Wrote the developer but no respponse.
Hi Martin! I don't think I got your email. Anyways I had the same error, when GAget was released to the App Store. But it also appeared in other apps as well that had in-app purchases, so it was not GAget related. I logged out of the App Store and rebooted my Mac. I believe that fixed it.
Great convenient app! Hope to see more features...
It’s a great app and I gave it 5 stars because it was really convenient and priced fairly. For those who have a lot of sites being tracked on Google Analytics, this really makes things convenient. The visualizations are great and fit with OS X.
Like others have said, real-time data would be even better. What else would be nice to see is the ability to get notifications on specific events. If there was a spike in traffic (just have a configured threshold) for example. As a developer I know this is a lot of additional work here, but I think it some sort of alert system that popped up OS X notifications would be killer and certainly warrant a price increase. =)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
