In 2055 the first deep space mission is launched. In a freak accident Explorer 1 is pulled into an unstable wormhole and thrown across the galaxy. Determined to return home at any cost the crew embarks on a long dangerous mission across unknown space. As captain of Explorer 1 it's your job to get your crew back to Earth.
Each time you play a new randomly generated game is created which will be fraught with challenges. Keeping your crew alive and scavenging for fuel will become the norm. Greedy merchants will try to charge you exorbitant prices and pirates will try to rob you blind.
However if you are smart, lucky and courageous you may just make it back to Earth. Good luck!
- Scavenge for fuel and supplies
- Upgrade your ship
- Trade with merchants
- Land on planets
- Avoid pirates and patrols
- Recruit new crew members
- Encounter asteroid belts and spaces mines
- Deal with numerous space phenomenon
- Don't get caught with illegal alien artifacts!
An okay game
I like sci-fi games, but there are barely any planet types and all of those are likely to damage you, and the industrial planets are useless. The wild planets have about a 4/5 chance to either do nothing or have a native attack. You cannot fight pirates; which makes no sense at all. There are routes and alternate routes and a large amount are like this "You can continue your route through a spaceship graveyard or take an alternate route through a spaceship graveyard" which is completely pointless. It still gets 3 stars because of the original objective.
The game is too hard requires a large amount of luck and is hard to look at
This game is not the worst ive played but it's close
What's wrong with this game is their are 7 unique encounters and at the most 3 choices on how to deal with them over and over
Also their is only one solid strategy to the game and that is to play it safely i get it's not safe in space and that everything is out to rob or kill you but that's just not fun you end up skipping over tens of planets in fear that it'll weaken your shields kill your crew or just waste fuel to land
Also the end... Woot were back to earth -the end.
The most anticlimactic end I've seen
Game play 2/10
Story (or lack their of) 1/10
ppl rate it to hard
I give it 4.5, everybody gives it poor ratings an I'm usually a tough critic with apps but this is supposed to be a challenge and it's very fun, I have experienced no bugs or crashes and it does everything it needs to, I would like more encounters and options however.
