You know I love GameFly. I get to rent tons of games for a small price each month. I can even keep the game for cost if I love it. I have recently found a problem with their service though. When new games are released they do not have enough supply to meet demand. Games immediately read LOW quantity and are often not available to rent. This is extremely disheartening. I have been waiting months for certain games. I either have to get them from other sources by spending MORE money or wait MONTHS after the game's release date until it is available through GameFly. I don't think this is fair to your paying customers. You either need to get more copies of games or ship games on a first come, first served basis. Some people would still have to wait, but those who have had a game in their Q forever will get it as soon as the game is released instead of being screwed over.
Gamefly is very overpriced for what you get. It's cheaper to buy used games online than it is to use Gamefly. I did a month long trial and only got 2 games. All the new ones were out of stock and it took a long time for them to even send me the older games. One shipped from the other side of the country when ones higher in my queue showed more availability.
Do yourself a favor and try a month long trial. Cancel it then try buying games on eBay or 99gamers. You'll see a much better value for your money elsewhere. And with Playstation Now coming soon there is no reason to pay gamefly for their old games that take a long time to ship. Maybe if you're into old games and live in the same city as a shipping center it'd be worth it. But it's not for me.
I would have to say that this app doesn't really have anything bad to say about it, it does exactly what its supposed to do. It's easy to use, and believe that pretty much anyone could use it. It's also easy to access your account instead of having to turn your game system or computer your able to just pull it up on your phone. It's also convenient to browse games for pretty much any game system made. And to view and edit your GameQ. Therefore I have to say it's an all around good app.
