Awesome App, But Please Read First Paragraph!
Before I begin, this is something pretty important I want to ask (I’m putting it first in my review because I want you to see it): could you make an option that lets you delete the app PERMANENTLY? I know how to delete it from iMessage, but I don’t think that deletes the app itself. I don’t plan to delete it any time soon, but just in case I want to delete it in the future, could you PLEASE make an option? Please?
I recently downloaded this game, and I think it’s pretty cool that it’s not an actual app that appears on your home screen, and is only able to be played on iMessage. I also like all the games on it, however, I don’t like that you have to pay $4.99 for more customization options. On the other, hand, though, it’s only a game, so what does it matter? I also have some suggestions. Do you think you could add a chat bar, friend requests, and user profiles? I guess it doesn’t really matter, but it would make the game more fun. As for my other suggestion, is it possible for you to make the game compatible with multiple players at once? This, too, would make the game more fun, and even a bit easier if you have multiple people who want to play with you. Other than that, great game, love playing it with my friends. And I hope more games and the game manual come out soon!
I love game pigeon. It lets me have fun with my friends anywhere, and do casual or competitive play with anyone I’d like. There are a couple bugs I’d like to point out to the producers though. A bug I’ve noticed for game pigeon is that if you are viewing the window on your screen and haven’t selected the typing bar or gone out and back into your messages, it usually won’t let you select game pigeon, or will come up blank and unresponsive. Another bug is that sometimes the games won’t send to another player, even after you send and click on the window several times. I have noticed a decrease in this bug recently, especially since the last update. Otherwise, some game modes that could be added is a tutorial, solo-game/ practice mode (WiFi/Data not needed), and a review mode. For the review mode meaning that if you clicked on the last game pigeon window, you’d be able to view your past actions in a continuous play. For instance, you’d be able to see your turns and your opponents turns in pool, and be able to watch it all like an actual game. I suggest this because after sending some game pigeons, I have wanted to replay some games with my friends, but they weren’t available. It could also be nice to be able to save games and these review videos. Thanks!
This is a fun, easy to use, free and simple app that is great for playing with friends. The games are many and fun, while the controls and concepts are just as fun and simple. I’ve made some good memories playing these games with my friends. (Specifically my step-sister who is addicted to the 8-ball and cup pong games)
A Small Recommendation to the Developers: Crazy Eights is one of the most fun games within Game Pigeon, however, you need to have three people to play this and have them all be able to play the game at the same time. As you can imagine, the circumstances to play this game with friends can be rare depending on how busy you are. I’m not bothered by the having to be on the game at the same time (in fact, I prefer it to sending a message back and forth every turn), but the thing I am bothered by is having to have three people. I know some of the concepts work better with three people in Crazy Eight, but it would be much more enjoyable if two friends could play a round together.
Sorry for rambling on for so long before getting to the point, I love your game, keep up the great work, and thank you for your time. Sincerely, Parker Pearce.
