Top 5 favorite but very costly n too little rewards
I just love this game so much. I am a fan of match three games and this is one of the best to keep you challenged and having fun. However…
Just like the Wizard Of Oz which is another one of my favorite three match, you pay a lot of money to play and then as a reward for doing a great game they give you one booster when they should give you 10 and when you play there special games you end up paying more and where they should give you 100 boosters for finishing they give you one. I work in IT so I understand the cost that is involved in producing these games and I understand there's a lot of creative energy that goes into it and the landscaping in this particular game is so pretty and it's so fun to make a garden but you have to play and play just to cut one tree which is ridiculous so all I have to say about it is gamers... The ones of you that make these games we are not in Las Vegas this is not a casino we shouldn't feel like we are paying the same amount of money to play blackjack as we are to play a game of any kind you also have advertisers and you're still making plenty of money so Barbie where unfortunately I'm sad to say it but I agree with beer Phoenix who read a review here it's so much fun and you want to be able to enjoy yourself you don't want to feel like you get the plate three levels and it cost you $40
Sort of a scam, too folksy
I play this game regularly and I enjoy it more or less: but I agree with nearly every other reviewer that it is fairly impossible to continue the game without making in game purchases. I refuse to do that: I understand there are people who have put time, energy, and resources into the game but I just cannot afford to spend my money that way. However the game is a helpful way to deal with anxiety and I like match three games. The frustration comes from levels that seemed deliberately designed to make you fail. I wonder what the motivation is in that--theoretically it would be just as difficult to succeed even if I had paid, and I wouldn't be likely to continue to spend my money if it didn't come with results. The characters also border on tedious. Austin's personality is tiresome and very affected which is an incredibly boring aspect of the game that one is forced to interact with. On top of everything, the game is rather dishonest about the time that it takes to complete days. Two stars should mean two stars, not two stars for part one and three stars for part two. Another quite tedious part of the game. I do like the orangery challenges and the dog training which lead to actual results. I'm going to wait to see how the Fireworks Festival pans out but if it's as unrewarding as the rest of the game, I'll most likely delete the app and play another one of the many match three games available for free.
Everything I wanted in a match-3!
This game fills all of the gaps left by another popular match-3. It's like the developers asked me what I wanted to see different and made it happen. I love that there is actual story progression for completing levels. Also, being able to activate bombs and rockets without swapping pieces is great. Plus you can swap pieces in empty spaces if you need to. The obstacles/challenges are great too! All of that, combined with the new events they have going on that reward you with unlimited lives for a certain amount of time make for an irresistible mobile game.
I have paid a dollar or two here and there when a great deal comes along, but that's really because sometimes I get impatient and I want to use power-ups or coins to get through tough levels. However, I'm impressed at how much you can get through without paying at all. Most of the time it will take a combination of strategy and luck. A lot of levels have play-through videos online if you're really stuck, and it can help your strategy focus. I'm now in the upper 500s levels, which is farther than I've made it in any match-3 saga, so that alone says a lot for me.
Thank you so much Playrix for listening to your players and continuing to make the game better and better!!
