Meeting goals made easier:
The newest version of Garmin Connect Mobile is designed to help you to focus even more clearly on your fitness and healthy living goals. All the data you rely on is easy to find and access on the app. Plus, you can also upload data from your compatible fitness watch or device to share via our online network, so you can compare times or compete with friends on weekly step or running challenges. You can even use the app’s Bluetooth® connectivity links (with a compatible smartphone) to receive current weather conditions, forecasts, voice call/text message notifications, and more – right on your Garmin fitness device.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Won't sync and can't connect
This is my first review as I never really feel the need to write any. But, do to this new update I just had to voice my opinion.
To be fair, I really like the Vivosmart hr. I've had it for a week now and it works really well and enjoy the fact that I can swim and track my calories burned which I could not do with my Fitbit. The software worked great a little more complicated than the Fitbit but I got used to it. I would give 4 stars based on that.
The problem I have now is with the new update I either cannot sync to my device, or it won't show me my stats, or there is a connection problem. But for the most part it's all of the above. How can something so useful turn on a dime and become useless? I really hope Garmin figures out the problems quick as this is and integral part of my fitness and health. One star because it is pretty much useless to me at this point.
Gorgeous and intuitive, all issues fixed after iOS 9.3 upgrade
This app is a beautiful app that gives you all the information you could ever want about your activities through Garmin connect. I had a connectivity issue with my Forerunner 235, but after the iOS 9.3 upgrade, I have had no problems with any part of the app. The app syncs with my forerunner anytime that it comes within Bluetooth range and uploads all my information within seconds. This is a fantastic app and companion to anyone who uses a Garmin product. I will note that much of the negativity in the current reviews seem to stem from easily resolved issues on the consumer end.
Save Your Money
I feel ripped off. The mobile site wouldn't even allow me to create a username/account. It took 45 minutes to get the app to allow me to even try to set up an account. I tried restarting, deleting, reloading, restarting... What a headache and complete waste of time and excitement. If your thinking this is a good idea as a gift please get a fit bit, speaking as a 22 college grad who's into these types of gadgets. I wasn't even going to write a review but I am so disappointed in false marketing I felt required to do my part in alerting anyone smart enough to read reviews before purchase. My version is vivoactive, maybeit's just this version, who cares. Shows what to expect down the line. :( very disappointed you didn't field test these devices before taking my money. What a poor decision by the company. Stick to the government sector and not user friendly focused devices.
