What's New in Version 4.14.1
Minor bug fixes.
Blatantly lied to make a sale
I bought a new car about a month ago, my old insurance was going to go a little higher so I called a few places to get quotes on insurance. I informed the lady I spoke with a few weeks ago what other companies offered and she gave me two quotes that sounded awesome. They came under what any other company had quoted me. What's extremely disappointing is that when she asked about my driving record, I informed her that I had a motorcycle accident about 2-3 years ago. She told me that since it was a motorcycle accident it didn't count towards automobile insurance because of the way Geico works their insurance, and I thought that was weird but since it helped me, I was glad to hear it. Now my insurance has jumped up from being told it would be 111 initially, my first payment was 117 and I figured 6 dollars was absolutely no issue to complain about. Now it has jumped up to 137 a month because my motorcycle accident counts, as I thought it should. 137 is higher than what other companies offered me for very similar packages, while including that motorcycle history. Your employee blatantly lied to me in order to make a sale, by telling me that Geico treats motorcycle history differently.

I hesitated to use the Geico app as I’ve found using these types of apps problematic. However I was “forced”to use it as I needed to upload a picture of a collision that I was involved in some time ago and my husband needed to update the payment information.
As he’s unable to use the iPad, the task fell upon me. I must say that it was fairly simple & straight forward. I was to upload the pictures for the claim successfully. Kudos to you as I was able to upload FOUR pictures and it’s great being able to upload more than one picture at a time.
The only area in which I encountered problems was in trying to find the screen to update the payment information. Once the Virtual Assistant (VA) came up it was smooth sailing.
The only improvement I’d suggest is to make the VA appear as an option right after signing on.
I locked my keys in the car and was waiting outside my gym at night (which needs something on my keychain to enter so I was locked out). I forgot my password and tried to reset it but for that I needed my policy number which I don’t know. Luckily it was saved offline so all I had to do was memorize the 8 or so digit number and put it into a thing to reset the password. So I did that and when I tried to put in my newly reset password it said it couldn’t access my account at that time. Uh okay. While all this was going on I was trying to get roadside assistance on the phone through the number they said to call. 30 minutes of waiting and I was not able to speak to anyone!!! I’m sure the app would be useful if it actually worked for me. Overall terrible experience and I’m upset about their customer support. Luckily I was not kidnapped or something worse while locked out waiting to talk to someone to help me.
