Getting Over It

A game I made
For a certain kind of person
To hurt them.
• Climb up an enormous mountain with nothing but a hammer and a pot.
• Listen as I make philosophical observations about the problem at hand.
• Between 2 and ∞ hours of agonizing gameplay, depending. The median time to finish for my playtesters was 5 hours, but the mean was closer to ∞.
• Lose all your progress, over and over.
• Feel new types of frustration you didn't know you were capable of.

Amazing game, needs optimization
Playing on iPhone X this game looks awesome, and performs extremely well for 3 or 4 minutes. After that the device gets extremely hot, so much so that the screen will dim in its usual increments all the way to minimum and the GPU/CPU will slow to a literal crawl shortly after - like I’m talking maybe 10 FPS max. It’s funny to watch it become unplayable after a few minutes and then eat through 20% battery in the same time.
I’m happy to see this port to mobile, I know the performance issues will be taken care of. Do yourself a favor and download this game. It’s worth dealing with the growing pains. Keep it up Bennett!
I think everyone here has already seen what this game has to offer, but it really only works with a mouse. The hammer is way more unpredictable on the phone version and, in my experience, is much more likely to glitch out and send you flying off the side of the mountain. The sensitivity changes don’t make much sense, all it does is delay the movement instead of just making it shorter, and changing your sensitivity mid-game will usually jerk the hammer to the side and send you flying. Also better graphics are certainly something to be desired. Really this is the hard mode of an impossible game.
It’s not the best but it kinda works
I have put at least 10 hours into this game and I have run into the same problems everyone else is.
The controls are decent. It takes a moment to find the right sensitivity for you. If you try to aim your launch it will sometimes shoot the hammer out and send you somewhere you don’t want to be. I wish I could play with a mouse so it would be easier.
I find the tunnel impossible to get through because my screen will freak out if I move my finger too fast and i fall. If I make it through it shoots me off when I try to aim my launch to the other side.
The graphics don’t bother me. I think this was made into a mobile game to torture us for throwing money at a game because we thought it looked okay or a YouTuber played it.
I ask that you fix the controls so it doesn’t shoot me off every two minutes.
