Decent story and graphics but terrible gameplay
I agree with the other reviewer - the game has some potential in its storyline and classic style graphics, but the gameplay is TERRIBLE. Main menu is very unconventional and confusing, movement is only four directions (not 8 or analog), there are no save games (though it seems there are save points - if you die, you can resume game, but it seems to put you at the point after you finished your last quest), combat is boring (multiple weapons but only one action, no sound effects) and difficult (you can restore health from raspberry bushes (which are hard to see for color blind people like myself) but you can't keep the berries with you, and you can easily get stuck in combat if you get surrounded by 2 or more enemies), and there are some interaction issues with the environment - no z depth (so you have to walk around objects - you can't walk behind them) and some zone change hotspots are pretty specific/picky/small. There's also no sound except for some music (which is decent though not awe inspiring).
If all of these issues were fixed, I'd probably give the game 4 stars (though that would really depend on how good the story ends up being - as of now, I didn't get very far and won't be playing any more).
This game had a lot of potential but it has terrible controls, next to no on-screen information and it is very crytic. We are told to get some sleep by our father; I ran all over looking for a bed to sleep in. Turns out as soon as the conversation is over you have already slept. Conversation bubbles have arrows leading to more info but tapping the bubble removes it. Terrible.
