Ghost town cats very nice
Very good game. First, I'm a cat person, but I'll try not to let that interfere with my review. :) I loved the cat theme, but the game did have issues. Some back and forth, but since it was only about four taps from one end of the town to the other, that wasn't a big issue, especially since the game was extremely responsive without the major delays you see in a lot of these games! Movement was seamless. The HO scenes were a bit blurry at times, and at several points late in the game, you completely lose the zoom feature. I really enjoyed the mini games and puzzles. It had a nice variety of those. A lot of mis-labeled items in HO scenes. The cut scenes were amateurish compared to the graphics of the game itself. And it was a very lengthy game with the bonus. Overall, I loved it. I got it on sale for 4.99. But I only give it four stars. I'm waiting for perfection to give five. But if BFG keeps up this kind of quality, I'll keep buying.
STUPID puzzles, English problems, constant scene changes, no logic
A clarinet is a fife? Duh! Why is it that non English speaking people who develop a game for hundreds of thousands of dollars can't hire someone to check their English before publishing? I find it incredible!
And the developers obviously think that puzzles and pictures made great games. They don't. I never did so many foolish puzzles in my life, including those that you had to turn in the right direction. How stupid and time wasting is that?
The game is lengthy, but most of that is the CONSTANT changing of scenes. It's a huge annoyance in the game. You often have to go through 7-10 scenes to get to the one you need. There is also no logic to those moves. If you don't use the "help" button, you'd spend hours just trying to find out where you should be going. The HO scenes are repeated and rather blurred. Some items are impossible to see, even when highlighted. And the pinch screen doesn't always work. This is an older game, obviously written by non-English speaking people and in need of work.
Fun game for cat lovers
Love the way the hint cat follows flying bug at times:) Lots of other creatures moving about made me smile. Uncomplicated game play although going back and forth towards the end was a little annoying but seems par for the course in these types of games. Not sure why there is such a difference between the scenery graphics and the characters, especially during the story scenes. This gave the game a hokey feel which could have been avoided. The HOS had some oddities, the most glaring was a brush listed as a comb! Found the game a bit short but overall a good effort from Big Fish, hope they take all the feedback into account for the next installment. I also want to add that I didn't encounter ANY bugs which was greatly appreciated!!
