Unfortunately, many 3rd party keyboards need Full Access to work. Just know that anything you type is only being used to match queries to GIPHY’s GIF content and nothing else. Almost perfect!
Please give us the option to download a GIF directly from the keyboard to our camera roll! My favorite chat app LINE allows using GIFs in chat, but only if they are uploaded directly from the camera roll. (I can't copy the GIF and simply paste — it won't be animated) Which means I have to 1.) copy the link from Giphy keys, 2.) open Safari and paste link, 3.) save the image, 4.) go back to LINE and choose the the gif to upload. Way too many steps!!!! If I was able to 1.) find and save a gif from the keyboard to the camera roll while using LINE, then 2.) while still in LINE, choose the saved GIF from the camera roll and uploaded, it would eliminate half the steps needed. 🤔
Great app but bugs
It seems to misbehave in other applications that are not iMessage (like Whatsapp) when tapping the search icon it bugs out and doesn't search. When working the app is really good. Good feature would be to add extended keys tapping for additional keys, for example in in normal english keyboard if you hold the "n" key the "ñ" and "ń" will be shown, same goes with the dollar sign that displays multiple currency symbols when hold. If those two things are addressed consider this my main keyboard
Please fix bugs/ glitches iphone 6s 10.2.1
Ive been using this app for 6 months now and since the update before Christmas its began glitching and crashing consistently upon choosing a gif and holding down to save it so i can then paste it into the message the entire app crashes when attempting to copy gif and reopens itself, I have to completely start the search again and then program runs fine. But every time on the initial start up, like clockwork the glitch crashes the app and i have to reset.
