Obnoxious ad placement

Keith Gonzalez

Ad placement at the very top of the app is just bad. Normally I’d consider an in-app purchase to remove ads as long as it adds new features as well, but I just couldn’t bare it with this one. The ad placement for the free version of this app just made me want to instantly uninstall, which I did.

Ad on top

I never seen an app putting ad in the worse position. I will use the browser version instead.

Mostly works

I wouldn't upgrade to the paid version yet. The app does pull in your projects and updates things correctly for the most part but it's very inconsistent. After creating new projects it takes over a day for them to show up in the projects list even after refreshing over and over again. When the new projects do show up, entering them to see the most recent commits and other info somehow takes me to a completely different project and one that is yet to appear in the projects list no less. Refreshing seems to have no effect.

So yeah, you get to manage your projects... sorta mostly, but they don't appear in the app when you need them to and viewing one project shows you the information about a totally different one.

When I had just one repo it worked like a charm and I was almost about to upgrade for the added functionality. Now after seeing these bugs I can't do that. I need to know that when I upgrade, that free functionality will work as expected. I can't confidently upgrade unless I know that there's going to be at least some base level of consistency when I use the app. Maybe accessing my repos via web UI is the way to go until things are fixed.
