To sign up for Online Banking and receive access to mobile banking using your mobile device, customers can enroll by visiting the bank website and using the APPLY NOW drop down.

Customers can also make check deposits using their mobile device and our Mobile Check Deposit service. This service can be requested by contacting the bank.

Mobile App is missing transactions
I’ve called customer service 2 months in a row now and they don’t seem too concerned....so I’m writing a review in hopes the IT team gets this. Many times I’m not able to balance my checkbook and last month and again today is no different. I use the Mobile app and have found items not clearing, however, last month I decided to call the bank and confirm whether or not a check really did clear. The bank showed it did, the mobile app doesn’t list it. However, if I log on using a computer I can see the transaction cleared. Same thing again this morning....a debit from 9/4 was not listed on the mobile app, I logged in through my laptop and it showed cleared on 9/5 (9 days ago). I call customer service and they said everything was fine, no problems....only after I pushed did they say they would let the IT department know, but they had no information from me (including my account number - so I knew I was being blown off).

Please look into this and make repairs. The App can not be trusted to provide accurate data.

They need to update and put some money into the app and how it functions. I will spend money, and it takes a couple of days for the app to update. The balance of my account fluctuates on some dates it shows a true balance, on some days it shows a higher balance. The time it takes for a check to clear is crazy. It’s been over a week and I’m still waiting for my account to show that my bills have been paid. On weekends, forget about knowing if your balance is accurate. When I tried contacting the tech people, the drop box and who I was sending it to doesn’t work. Overall I love valley bank, the people that work there and how they operate, but I’m extremely disappointed in the app and online performances.

Great people, horrible online banking.
I rated this 3 stars about a year ago, but the app is getting worse instead of better. It does not work at night for whatever reason. And rarely works during business hours. And yes, my app is up to date and so is my operating system, I have an iPhone X so it is far from outdated. I am actually an app developer, so maybe I am pickier than most. But Mountain West Bank is in the Stone Age when it comes to online banking and technology. I’ve been banking with them for about 10 years now and have never had any issues. They seem to be a great bank and the people are always pleasant to deal with. But their app gets a 1 Star. The lack of keeping up with technology is why I’m going to soon close my account here and use my ICCU accounts for all of my banking.
